My two year old LOVES his digger! The high gear goes much faster than expected, which is great for riding in the grass! Would definitely recommend!

Assembly was super easy considering the complexity of the toy, I think it was harder to unpackage than assemble haha. Two downfalls, it seems a bit underpowered and it is missing what I consider one key safety feature. I say underpowered as we have a gravel driveway with a slight incline, the Dirt Digger goes up it very slowly and when the battery runs down a little I sometimes have to help push. Once to the top where it is level there is no problem even with a low battery. The safety feature I feel is missing is having to press two pedals to make the Dirt Digger go. While it is difficult for some toddlers to push two pedals at the same time, with the "running board" setup on the dirt digger it is easy to step on the single throttle pedal while climbing onto it. We taught our grandson to climb on from the other side but only after a near catastrophe. It scared him bad enough it took a week before he got back on it. All in all it was a great purchase and he loves the heck out of it, he heads straight for the garage whenever he comes over.

My grandson was so excited! But it was short lived. First 2nd gear (high speed) quit, so it wouldn't work in the grass. We are licensed electricians and fixed that by switching the wires on the 2 speed switch, which disabled low speed. But it worked on the grass again which is all I have. Then the bucket stopped raising. Fixed that too. The deal breaker was that the next thing to quit was one of the two rear drive motors, which made it not work on the grass again. Luckily it all happened with less than 3 hours of use over the first 2 weeks, which makes it returnable. By the way, it is not remote control either. Even if you are very mechanically inclined, these parts are not available at the local hardware store. Not worth the money!

This little tractor didn’t look like it had a lot of power but it does and it was well worth it for my son he loves it
