Having spent plenty of time in sales and marketing, I've had my share of Ouzo. It's a word that tends to stand out for me due to the morning after memories, but what I really liked when I saw this glassware was the lovely color.And I wasn't disappointed on receipt. They arrived in a bespoke box, perfect for gifting, with a satin lining on the bottom, Styrofoam on both top and bottom cushioning the glasses, with a nice description on the box along with a care insert.Because the glasses picked up lint and detritus from the packaging, we took the manufacturer at their word (while I gritted my teeth) and popped them in the dishwasher. They came through beautifully - no fading or chipping - but I wouldn't make it a regular wash method because they're so pretty and dishwashers tend to be unforgiving.The glasses are a great weight, just slightly wider than a shot glass so ideal, as the manufacturer states, for the addition of a (smallish) ice cube. Really nice. I originally got this as a possible host gift, but turns out we like them so much, they're staying with us. Very nice item.(I should add that once I decided to keep the glasses, I tried to collapse the product box. It's so sturdy, I could stand on it with no impact. My XXL husband had to attack it. This product is not only well made; the packaging has bells and whistles too.)

The GLASSIQUE CADEAU (a Scandinavian glassware brand) Sipping Glasses are absolutely beautiful in cobalt blue, and they elevate Ouzo, or any other drink! They are sturdy and crafted well, and the feel great in your hand. The unique shape adds to a pleasant drinking experience. These small treasures are packaged well, with a black satin lined box that adds a touch of elegance and makes this set an ideal gift item!I took pictures as soon as I opened the box, so before washing them. After washing them, they are even more shiny and beautiful!

These are good quality molded glass ouzo cups. Made in the classic style. They are not crystal or anything like that. Seem like plain old dollar store glasses in a fancy box not particularly heavy or attractive in any way to me.They do have the square base and the blue color of ouzo cups.Very giftable for an ouzo fan. Seems like a lot of packaging and hype for 4 plain glass glasses.But if these are what you want they will work and will hold up as well as any.

These are stunning! Great quality, unique, and the box it comes in just tops it all off! This set could easy be used as decoration on a shelf. Extremely happy with this Ouzo set.

This is a beautiful set of small glasses, well packed in their box.The glasses are 3.25" high x 2 5/8" wide, the square base is 2" x 2". The glasses have a good heft, feel comfortable to hold and are very stable with their solid, square base.I love the color and enjoy using them.They would make the perfect gift for just about anyone !

Don't drink ouzo, but love the blue color and figured this would work well with tequila. I have some great sipping tequilas and so far, they've worked out great. Afraid to put them in the dishwasher even though the manufacturer says they are dishwasher friendly. I've had bad luck with colored glasses in the past in the so I will just stick to the occasional hand wash. Nice glasses though, good purchase for our bar area.

These glasses arrived in an amazingly sturdy box, nestled in fabric wrapped foam.The color is beautiful, the glasses are stable, well made, and although I don't care for Ouzo, they work beautifully for pretty much any cordial you could want.I really love the color, and it matches my other glassware. I couldn't be more happy with them!

The material of the glasses, which is glass, is of excellent quality, with a very well-polished finish, and the integration with the blue color is noticeable when they are new. After using and washing them, they maintain their color; it hasn't faded, and they haven't suffered scratches from everyday use.Their main use is for tasting some drinks as suggested, but I've used them for many other things, and even with regular use and washing them by hand, they still look like new. With a wide and thick base, they are quite sturdy and do not tip over easily.

I gave this product 5 stars only as a good gift item. They look nice and of high quality, and they come in a very presentable box. At a price of $33 CAD, at the time of writing, they are quite expensive. More than $8 for a single shot glass sounds unnecessarily high, but such high prices are good when it comes to gifts.In terms of functionality, there is not much to discuss. They are just small drink containers. But in terms of attractiveness, they are well designed and look good. The dark blue color is nice and the glass material feels sturdy. While it is heavy for what it is, that is a positive for its intended use. The packaging and presentation are absolutely great for a gift item.Overall, if you are looking for functional shot glasses, they are nice but expensive. If you are looking for a gift item or some shot glasses that look premium, they are quite good. Decide according to your use case. By the way, they went through the dishwasher fine. Dishwasher is sometimes a matter of concern with colored glasses, depending on the coloring method.

In case you're thinking from the photos that these are shot glasses... they're not! At 4.7 oz, they're definitely not for shooting (unless you perhaps have a bit of a "problem"? Ha!).On arrival, I was disappointed that they very badly wanted a wash. Truthfully, I would have washed them anyway, but they had an unmistakable film on almost them like they'd been near the stove in an open space for quite a while. HOWEVER, a single run through the dishwasher got them nice and shiny and ready for use.Overall, I find the blue look is a bit dated and they're that bit too small for *my* hand to hold my drink comfortably... but they do have a nice, weighty feeling of quality. The box they come in makes them very giftable, as is shown in the Amazon product page photos.

These Ouzo, Raki, Arak and Pastis Sipping Glasses from GLASSIQUE CADEAU are beautifully crafted from hand blow colored glass. They arrive in a satin lined presentation box with a cut out for each glass, so they're perfect for gifting, but I'll be keeping these for myself for special occasions.The glass used for these glasses is quite thick so they have a very nice weight to them. The hand blown nature means you will see a few small bubbles in the glass, but that just adds to their charm. These glasses hold 4.7 oz and have a smooth rim and a thick square base so you can add an ice cube to your Ouzo as you sip it with friends. They're dishwasher safe so they're super easy to clean.Highly recommended!

Ouzo, Raki, Arak and Pastis Sipping Glasses is a very pretty set, elegantly presented. I love coloured glass and original pieces of diningware so of course, I really like these. The only thing that turned me off is that they arrived quite dirty and it took the wow factor away until I washed them. The glass is clear and smooth. You are able to pick them up and drink from them quite easily even though it has a squarish design. The advertisement describes and portrays them true to form. A great little set to own. Opa!
