Great value!
It works great! I installed it outdoor, under no roof. Water resistant. Rain after rain and it is still working fine. Standard size, enough space for the chicken to go through. Easy to program when to open and close. Batteries last a long time.

Total waste of money
If you are looking for a door that will only work about half the time this is for you. If it opens it will only open half way and get stuck. Sometimes it opens and closes at random times. Save your money and buy something else anything else. Total piece of crap door.

Door sticks when opening
I love everything about this door except I have to go out every morning and "assist" the door to get it to open all of the way. It opens about 4 inches only. When I use the up button, it opens two or three clicks and then I have to do it several times to get the door open completely. I saw another review that was having the same problem. How do I contact the company? I also am afraid of stripping the gears.

Worked well for our coop
A pretty straight forward chicken door made out of aluminum.It isn't the most strong/robust chicken door out there, but I can't imagine that any smaller predator would be able to break in through this door.I think a bear could pretty easily bend or bash it if they really wanted to, but then, most coops aren't going to be setup enough to stop a bear anyways.It functions well, easy to install. The only possible thing I could think of is that there are the little slot / indents on the door that it uses to move it up and down, it isn't too hard to open and close the door manually using these, so it is possible that something like a raccoon could figure out the same thing, not sure if the resistance would be too strong for them or not.I feel like that's a pretty outside chance of that happening, but I suppose it is possible if you're extra worried about it.

Opens and closed easily
Door slides open and closed very easily. Easy to program. Nice to know the chickens are safe at night.
