Xiaomi Pad 6 was awarded as the " Tablet of the Year 2023", not without reason.1. Vibrant, bright, sharp, colourful display with excellent contrast, high refresh rate (60-144 Hz) and high touch sampling rate (240 Hz)2. Immersive, crisp, clear, bassy sound, with Dolby Atmos support from the Quad speakers, two each on both sides, sufficient volume for a 150 sq ft room.3. Lag free, fast response gaming experience. Bgmi, Codm plays at a consistent 60 fps.4. Good cameras but nothing to rave about. The 13 mp rear camera can record 4k videos at 30 hz. Decent daylight pics. Missing image and video stabilisation. Google Lens could scan documents properly.5. Fast processing, good memory management. Upto 32 apps can be kept opened in the background.6. 4K Video editing is possible. Rendering is a bit slow.7. Tukzer Universal Stylus smoothly works on Note taking and Drawing apps.8. Minimalistic design, beautiful misty blue colour, rectangular sleek form factor encased in an aluminium body. Minimal bezels.9. Modern connectivity features. Bluetooth connects seamlessly with my Blaupunkt Extreme TWS earphones, Blaupunkt BH 11 headphones and Blaupunkt Soundbar. Miracast mirroring connects easily with my Samsung Crystal Neo 4K TV. Wifi 6E connects seamlessly to my Jio Fiber Router at both 5Ghz and 2.4 Ghz bands.10. 33 W fast charger charges from 0-100 % in 90 minutes flat. In mixed usage, battery easily lasted for more than a day.11. 6 hrs of Bgmi at Ultra graphics & Extreme frame rate settings and hardly any heating issues. Thermal management is excellent.12. Widevine CDM Security Level L1 certification, Dolby Vision, HLG, HDR 10+ allows Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Zee5, Disney Hotstar, SonyLiv etc. streaming at the highest resolution.13. The 8 mp front camera does have Center Stage for focussed Video calling.14. Whatsapp messaging works smoothly.15. No problems with social media apps. Instagram does not expand.16. Missed the 3.5 mm audio jack port. Sounce Type C to 3.5 mm jack at just Rs 199 on Amazon app solved the problem.17. Type C gen 3.2 port connected with the Portronics Type C compatible multi port hub adapter could connect all peripherals- Keyboard, mouse, external HDD, SD, could read microSD and SD cards one at a time, ethernet connectivity through RJ 45 port also worked okay.18. Smooth, lag free software experience. Xiaomi Hyper OS is quite similar to iPadOS. Excellent features and gesture support. Good job at an attractive price. All popular Android apps working well. Amazon Online Shopping app can be installed directly from the Amazon website.Overall an allrounder budget tablet with premium features at an affordable price. Highly recommended for students, casual gamers, amateur photo and video editors, office goers who mainly engage in presentations, emails, browsing and the best tablet for OTT binging. Awesome visuals coupled with great sound. Pro video editors, graphic designers, gamers would be a bit disappointed. For them, iPad Pro costing a minimum of Rs 70,000 could be a good option.

After 6 months of usage i don't have much to complain about. It's the best tab at this price range for note taking(my main use case). The stylus pen(bought from xiaomi website separately) is proper for writing, now I have no notebooks lying in my tables or shelves. the 144hz screen is crisp and smooth and youtube plays at 2160p. It does all the other basic stuff just fine. Audio quality is good, the speakers are good, the OS is fine.Only problems I have faced is in Amazon prime video, sometimes the video quality is really bad and there is a procedure that I found on YouTube that you have to follow just to get the video to play at 1080p and it doesn't go beyond that. I noticed other reviews saying angel one stock trading app isn't supported, however I use zerodha and the tab supports that but I use it on my phone because that's the most convenient. But for viewing stock trading charts like trading view app that's very good to look in this tablet.battery life is mediocre, it's not bad but it isn't a strong point either. The cameras too are average, but for video calling and meetings it does the job. As for gaming, i played Minecraft and it works fine but I don't know about other more demanding games.I got it at a discounted price during a sale at that time and for that price it's a steal. For my use I'd give it a 9/10.

The device is very good overall. I mainly used this for entertainment purposes. I don't game on this.If you can workaround the Widevine issue, this is a good device. Writing this review after almost 8-10 days of usage.I recommend a case that lets you use it in landscape mode.1) Display: It is a 2k display. While the display may not be an OLED display(Don't think any other device in this category has one) it is a very good LCD Display, the colors are very rich and accurate. While there may not be much difference when watching content compared to device with 120Hz, you can notice the 144Hz smoothness in the app drawer and scrolling in general. Also it would be evident in gamesWhen I bought this device, I assumed my main issue would be the LCD display but it's not been a problem.2) Battery Life: Unless you're gaming, you're not going to have much issues on this particular front. I guess I watched 4-6 hours of continuous Netflix at 1080p. Didn't really keep track but I didn't find charging the device annoying.3) Performance: While the Snapdragon 870 chipset might be a tad bit outdated, it still is a flagship chip. I didn't have any stutters or lags in daily usage, I'd reckon FPS based games on this is no problem. Genshin Impact might get a little too hot at max settings but it does run but you'll notice some performance dips.I have noticed unusual heating issue near the area where you keep the pen though, the device was not doing anything intensive.The 8GB ram handles most of the multitasking well and there is option to extend it by another 8GB of virtual memory/ram plus/memory extension. I would not recommend this as in the long term, it can affect your main storage.I have the 8GB RAM 256 ROM variant, for the price increase over the 6GB 128GB I think it's much better to get the higher tier.Sounds Quality: I don't think you should expect the sound quality you get in a Samsung flagship tablet but the one in this is not bad. If you've used a higher end device and then use this one, you'd notice the sound quality degradation but otherwise you wouldn't and, for this price, it's better than the rest, except maybe the Lenovo one with JBL speakers but that's got it's own set of drawbacks. The speakers on this device gets the job done and I don't have much complaints.Some pros:1) The front facing camera placement is in the landscape position so for zoom/team calls, it in the ideal place.2) USB-C port is usb3.2 so you get faster data transmission and display output. You can hook it to an external monitor to display the device or use the device in workstation mode.Some Cons:1) No fingerprint scanner on this device, you can put face unlock but no face ID so even a picture of your face would unlock the device. Only reliable option I guess would be PIN.2) This is my biggest issue and it's something most reviewers don't talk about and it's the main reason why I wanted to do a review on this product.The stupid Widevine issue, in regular apps like YouTube this won't be an issue, but in Netflix and Amazon prime video(I only use these 2 so can say only speak for them) you cannot watch videos at higher quality, say 1080p or above straight out of the box.Every week I need to reinstall Certificates to update Widevine from L3 to L1, clear cache and other details from the apps, restart the device, sign in again into these apps to use them properly. It is extremely inconvenient and it's purely Xiaomi's software being crappy and annoying. If you're someone willing to look for the workaround, ONLY THEN GET THIS DEVICE. When I first saw this issue, I thought it was a deal breaker and was about to ask for a refund. I decided to stick with it once I learned of the workaround/fix.3) Not really an issue but it should be noted that there isn't a compass so things like Google maps are sort of annoying to use.4) The Xiaomi pad OS is getting better but still has issue where some apps, when in landscape mode, still would be as if in portrait. Just a minor inconvenience.

This is my first tablet (8GB AND 256GB VARIANT) and i have bought this after researching a lot in youtube. I have purchased all the three items(PAD,(KEYBOARDand PEN bought from mi site)). I felt so happy with the keyboard.It made me feel like a compact laptop.Now let me share the review in detail.1)DISPLAY:It comes with ips lcd panel,where the colours are true and picture quality is so crisp and clear.It supports 4k content in youtube,but OTT apps like disney,amazon,etc support only 1080p not 4k.However the picture quality is good.Watching 4k content in youtube gives an immense satisfaction.brightness of the display is great.In one word the DISPLAY is STUNNING.2)SOUND:This element is the best in this tab.The DOLBY ATMOS in the tab is marvelous.While watching OTT or youtube content which support ATMOS,you will experience a theatric feel.Xiaomi has nailed in this sound segment.In word the SOUND is AMAZING.3)PROCESSOR:Even though sd 870 is an older processor it is still as promising as it was at its launch.Day to day tasks run so smoothly.The ram managent is so efficient.I played games like asphalt 9 legends and Call of duty at maximum settings and the processor handled smoothly without any lag.Surprisingly even after palying COD for 1 hour I didn't notice any heating issue.In word the PROCESSOR is PROMISING.4)BATTERY:It takes around 2 hours for fully charging this 8840mah tablet.The tablet comes with 33W fast charger.We get 2 days of battery life for normal day to day tasks.But if you do a lot of gaming it lasts less than a day.In one word the BATTERY is SUFFICIENT.5)DESIGN:The tablet comes with a metal body and gives a premium feel and eventhough the tablet is aroung half a KG,you will not notice it.The weight distribution is so good.In one word the DESIGN is PREMIUM.I Recommend to buy this tablet and you will not regret even 1%.In this price segment no tablet comes near and you can go for it without any doubt.When you buy a tablet,my suggestion is also buy the keyboard(You may compromise for pen).The combo of tab and keyboard gives the completeness.You will have a wonderful Browsing experinece with keyboard.In one word THIS XIAOMI PAD 6 is TERRIFIC.......

Great tablet from Xiaomi I wanted to get the 6pro version but I couldn't find it as it wasn't launched in India so I bought this and this proved itself! I liked it and I am using it for 2 years now along with my Mi14 which I bought right before this one 👌🏼 and I must say the interconnectivity is top notched between them

After few days of usage. The pad is amazing to use. What i like most about the pad is the battery; the battery life is super incredible. The os is not great but with that price is great.Display and sound output is also great. Gaming is pretty awesome too and no heating at all even it does not get warm.
