Joya goffney my week with him
A really good read. I loved how the 2 characters gravitated towards each other and not wanting to tell each other they had feels for each other for fearing they would be rejected again. I don't want to give too much away. You better get reading

I really enjoyed it
I wouldn’t say I’m a huge YA fan but this one had me hooked from page 1. I remembered those high school fights with my mom and while they never got extreme like Nikki and her mom, I could remember feeling so helpless.Mal was such a sweetheart. You could feel how much he cared about Nikki by his actions and she of all people needed that. It was sweet seeing them in their dynamic and watching it evolve over the course of one week. I almost want to ask for a follow up because I feel like a big sister, well maybe a young auntie. I’ll definitely be reading more from Joya.
