Excellent bag for traveling

I went to go get a book bag for school I’m currently in college . I used to use a purse but it started hurting my shoulders. So I decided to invest in a book bag . I actually use this book bag for work also . My back has gotten so much better with the pain . It actually went away , the balance on my back and the tension of my shoulders have been so good . It has so much useful pockets , and have a lot of space . I love it so much

I'm reviewing this with strong opinions, right after several outings with a lightly-made daypack. This is compact, but solid. It''s made of thick Cordura nylon. Its straps, laptop sleeve, and back panel are generously padded. The straps and hand-grab top loop are solidly sewn-in, as is the back loop for sliding this onto a carry-on roller bag's handle. You could use the back patch to attach a strap to hold wet clothing, etc.My 15.6" laptop just fits the laptop sleeve, but it does fit (as promised). The leatherette bottom is sewn on top of a full nylon bottom panel, and this is a useful feature – it adds structure, to hold heavy items like books in place. This prevents them from poking you, or drooping backwards to cause back strain. The back pocket is a single compartment, but the main compartment includes several internal pockets to organize pens/pencils and moderate-sized items.I'm docking a point for 2 design flaws. First, the phone pocket with cord port is generously large, but it's on the right side of the pack, which isn't ideal for right-handed folks. Also, although that pocket is nicely padded, it's right against your back, so a large phone (or rigid phone case) might cause some discomfort.Second, the 2 bottle pockets seem designed more for style than function. The top leatherette accents are pretty, and they add some reinforcement. But the pockets have no exterior or interior padding (so no insulation), and they're really skinny. I can just barely squeeze a wide-mouth Nalgene pint bottle in or out, with substantial effort. The pockets could accommodate a taller quart bottle, but if you're hiking and thirsty, it's a real convenience if you can just reach around and pull out your bottle. Here, you really need to stop and swing the pack off your back to access your H2O, which is an ongoing nuisance.If redesigned with bigger/insulated bottle pockets, and with the phone pocket flipped to the opposite side, this could really be ideal for its size.
