Review: Works as advertised - I was skeptical when I first received this as it’s very flimsy but being deprived of ports on the MacBook Pro I decided to try it out. Despite my previous reservation it was a complete champ when I used hdmi to connect my monitor. Absolutely no lag like it was on the actual machine. I also hooked up a mouse at the same time and that worked well as well. Overall, only time will tell if it’ll last but for now satisfied with the purchase. Review: Not bad - some work great some dont. its a good route to take instead of the stupid expensive apple one. We buy a lot of volume. weve had some defective ones but most of the time they work great. even if they dont work, they always get replaced no problem.

Stopped working after just 2 uses :(
Not a good product. It stopped working after just a few uses. Incredibly disappointed. Please don’t waste your money on this one. It’s better to purchase some other product for a little more but it will actually keep on functioning unlike this item.

Good purchase
Needed this to help import photos from my camera after I bought a Samsung Chromebook Plus. I like that it's slim and that it comes with a Type C, HDMI, and USB port. I use the USB port for my camera and I plan on using the HDMI port for when I want to connect my computer to my TV. Ports feel a just a little tight when plugged in, but I like it because it feels secure. Very happy with my purchase.

Very loose connection after a few uses
As the headline says, device stopped working efficiently after a few months of use. Was a bit frustrating to have to try plugging and replugging and debugging where the issue was coming from.

I was looking for a product that I could use to connect my new Acer Chromecast to my TV so that I could mirror the images and watch shows on the bigger TV screen and this does the trick quite well!
