Perfect for my old Dell C610
I had and old Dell C610 Windows XP laptop with a dead HD that I wanted to restore and play old games on. After doing some research I discovered I could use this SSD with an adapter and it would slide right back into the modular port on my laptop. It went in easily and reads great.

Shockingly good for the low price point.
More than I expected for the low price point, it gets warm fast but it's not too hot to handle. Works with my Windows 98 laptop as a HDD and transfer device. Definitely worth the money.

Make this your Windows boot drive!! 95% faster than my HDD!!!
If you have an old machine in Windows 10 like I do, you’ll want to run your windows system from this new SSD drive (meaning Windows sits inside of this drive and boots from this drive.)It means you have to use that Windows 10 disc installation tool, but I cannot believe how much faster it is to boot my windows from the shut down state!! Like night and day.I did it this morning and I was in Windows in less than 7 seconds. Before, with my hard disk drive, Windows 10 took about one to two minutes for even that little pin pad option to show up!!!!ChatGPT told me to run everything from the SSD drive that takes intensive data or processing. So true. I took out my original 3 1/2 inch HDD that came with the machine and this PC is near-silent. It hardly makes a noise and the speed is astounding. You need to set your BIOS to boot from your correct SSD drive. You just need to do it once and it is set. (BTW, ChatGPT is supreme for helping understand BIOS!!!)I’m using a MSI GE70 12- year old laptop. Runs like a premium new machine now!I’ll never use HDD again, ever ever ever ever ever. Buy this drive and make it your primary gem. You’ll be glad you did!

Easy to assemble and much faster than a conventional hard drive.
The fact that it is faster and has more storage capacity than a standard IDE hard drive. It was installed in a 2005 PowerBook G4 17” high resolution A1139.

1Tb drive
Added this to an older Acer laptop with an mSATA slot. There seem to be quite a few different brands of these for fairly cheap now. So far it is fine. We'll see if it lasts. Note that it does not have any cloning or monitoring software available that I could find.Since the old drive was a Western Digital I was able to use their free cloning software to clone the old drive and make this one the new boot drive.
