Comprehensive and accessible
Kathleen has gathered a comprehensive toolbox of holistic approaches for managing stress, geared towards people with living with lymphedema, but actually very useful for anyone. Lymphedema therapists, family and allies will all benefit from the smorgasbord of stress reduction techniques. The book is very well organized in sections and flows well. Though I chose to read it cover to cover, one could literally open the book anywhere and find ways to be transported to a calmer place.

Wonderful
A common problem living with lymphedema is feeling alone, not being seen and not having access to the treatment you need. Combined that with chronic pain, and dealing with your limb(s) being swollen and disfigured, it can be very stressful. Don’t forget that stress causes the lymphedema to get worse, and the cycle continues.This book is thoughtfully written with the patient in mind showing a way to break the endless cycle.I would recommend it to anyone that has or knows someone living with lymphedema. It’s also perfect for therapist that really want to help their patients.
