TILE RITE OTC624 1000 mm Professional Manual Tile Cutter with Bearings

Okay, this is a cheap, 1000mm tile cutter. I've been cutting 1000x333x10mm porcelanosa tile with it, and can honestly say it does a decent job. Many (20 or so) light scores, snap the tile at the very top edge, and I'm getting brilliant chip free cuts. It's not 100% square, so ignore the guide, and it's flexible, so will only snap the tile at the very end, but I've cut over 30 large format tiles so far, and can't fault it for the price.Brilliant value for money, great for DIY. :)

Not the quality I had hoped for, there is too much flex in it which can cause the break to wander off line on big floor tiles.

I purchased this tile cutter tested it on 3 different tiles scored and snapped perfect .I was a bit worried when I read the reviews after I ordered it that it was not very good,but this did the job can not fault it.

Oh Dear. I took a chance on this after reading the mixed reviews, but oh dear oh dear. The deck just bent when I tried to crack the first tile, so I tried again and the pads that made contact with the tile snapped off, rendering the item totally useless. I sent it back via Amazons usual great customer service, so no problems on that front.My advice would be not to buy this, looks like a good idea, but it really isn't.

Unbeliveable price and we used it yesterday on 1000 x 200 x 10 tiles, clean non splinterd cut and straight as a die.It was a small gamble if it worked compared to the big name cutters, we have saved hundreds for our business, we will buy some more of the range if available.Terry.

Arrived with only one bolt to fix the scorer bar to the brackets. Said bolt sheared the thread after 4 cuts and the bar came off under minimal pressure. Cuts it did do were ok although the scorer has a habit of wandering off line slightly. Returning for refund.Replaced it with MacAllister 900mm cutter from B&Q which is excellent. And cheaper.

It arrived on time, but was incomplete sent it back and by the time i paid for p&p was out of pocket because what i was allowed for p&p was not enough, so 1 star for arriving on time.

it didnt turn up, city link said delivered bot it was not. its a shame as they were out of stock and could not send a replacement... looked like a good tile cutter anyways :)
