Was able to go through lightweight fabric multilayers, but when it came to jeans, I was not able to get through it.Overall is good for lightweight sewing

Sorry but i will never recomend this sewing machine. Is the worst sewing machine i have ever try.My opinion, i give it less than one star.

I remember taking sewing classes way back when I was in elementary school. I enjoyed it back then but never kept up with it. For years I've wanted to try my hand at sewing again, but the big machines intimidate me. When I saw this little machine, I knew it would be perfect for me to start off slow with. It's really easy to use and I'm getting the hang of it now slowly but surely. I'm glad I chose such a small machine or I may have never even tried to learn again. I'm loving this little machine and all of my new creations.

Excellent machine for the money. Easy to use. Great for beginners. My 5 year granddaughter is becoming a good little sewer on this machine. She has made Christmas gifts for the family. Simple pillows that we stuff. She is so proud to be able to do this easily with some supervision. I recommend this product. It comes with so many extras.

I made this purchase in order to do hems & buttonholes so it suits my purpose. When I opened the box, I was pleased with the size, weight & especially the wide table attachment. I was really excited! When I plugged the machine & turned it on, it began sewing without pressing the foot control. I could not get it to stop unless I turned it off. Not being able to control the sewing function is a deal-breaker. Instead of getting an exchange, I opted to go with another model, full size & again with a table attachment. I decided I may need more versatility in the future. This unit does not do finer fabrics or elastics. If you are a beginner, I would recommend an inexpensive machine with room to grow. If you decide to purchase this machine, I believe it would be a good purchase as long as it works.
