It's totally mechanical, so it's as powerful as your drill is.
This thing is basically just an extension of your drill with a 90-degree bend, so you can use it at a right angle, instead of head on. It uses a 1/4" hex connection, just like the tips that fit most 18 or 20v impact drivers. It's completely mechanical, so the specs, as far as torque and whatnot, are simply exactly the same as whatever drill it's hooked up to. My one criticism is that it has a hard time staying attached to the drill. It never wants to stay put and falls off rather easily.

Wonderful for those hard to reach places
All too often I have had the frustration of dealing with a screw that makes me question my sanity on how to remove it. I've sometimes had to destroy what was above it, just to get to it. Other times, I just shave off the screw head and pretend like it never existed, but deep down, I'll always know that it existed... Fortunately, with this attachment, NOW I can finally get a better grip on that screw, and get it out of its hiding place! This attachment comes with a Philips head bit to get you started. It fit perfectly on my drill, and I didn't really have any issues with getting a screw out with it. I would recommend holding on to the attachment though as it wants to take a spin along with the drill when being used. Other than that, this attachment is a wonderful tool to have in my arsenal to get to the more elusive screws out there.

Takes a lot of torque
I have a similar product that is only about 1.5" long. It's hard to hold if you've got a really tight screw or bolt you're trying to use it with. This product is much longer...allowing you a better grip and leverage to keep it tightly against the hardware you're driving. The internal mechanism seems good quality. Transferring most of the torque from your driver to the screw or bolt. This isn't something you'll be using every day but having it in your tool box or service truck is a good idea. It just might be the only way to finish a job.

Nice attachment to have
This looks like a well-made right angle screwdriver attachment. It only accepts ¼" hexagonal shanks, like the standard Phillips screwdriver bit. This attachment is rated for impact use, which tells me it has a strong gear train. The right angle screw drivers I have purchased in the past never lasted long as their plastic gears would strip, leaving me stranded in the middle of a job.For drilling holes, hexagonal shank drill bits are required. I use mine mainly for getting to hidden screws in cabinets and appliances.Review for: AUTOTOOLHOME Right Angle Drill Attachment 90 degree Impact Adapter Minimum Reach of 1.3 in. Seems good enough.
I racked this into my Makita impact drill yesterday to see how it would do. The unit is more solid than I expected. While the outer barrel is plastic the heft of the unit would suggest that much of the intervals are metal. It seemed to work when I tried extracting a screw as a test. Sadly the drill attachment does not hold the bit securely. There is no lock collar like on my impact drill and no chuck so you may lose the bit if gravity pulls it out or it gets stuck in a screw head. It would be nice if you could lock the bit into the attachment.

No quality control
Opened it up attached to drill. Had a wobble like shaft was bent. Returned

A vital piece of gear for your tool box
Fastening screws in confined spaces can be a real pain. This 90 Degree Impact Adapter takes a tough job and makes it easy. I often build cabinetry of all different sizes and this tool definitely makes the job easier and much less frustrating. This tool comes lubricated but you might want to add some oil from time to time when you notice it getting warm when you use it.At around $13, this tool is a must-buy.
