Starkist Smart Bowls, Zesty Lemon Pasta & Beans Tuna, 4.5 oz (Pack of 3) with By The Cup Mood Spoons

I love the tuna pouches that I have purchased before from Starkist, but sometimes they leave you wanting something else to go with the tuna. I was happy to see the variety of grains that are included in these packs now because they round out the pack to make them even more of a meal. My son works construction and he doesn't want to bother bringing a dish that he needs to bring back home, and he gets tired of sandwiches so these pouches are perfect. They don't leak, easy to tear open and easy to eat. The Lemon Zest pack has a nice variety of pasta, beans, pepper, crushed tomatoes, carrots, and wild caught tuna with lemon seasoning. I couldn't have made it better myself.

The Tuna was out in my jail box and it was not refrigerated at all and it was very hot. I haven't eaten it yet. If it's bad I'll let you all know...

I was really looking forward to this. I love all the tuna pouches variations. Squashed, I didn't mind. But dry and no tuna flavor! A little more dressing would help and some tuna. It was also chewy. Not a good deal at all.

I was kind of dubious when I ordered this. It's the type of salad-y thing that I often think sounds good, but that just sounds too fussy to make just for me. And I don't even really care for garbanzo beans! But guess what. It's darn good!It's very fresh tasting, and none of the ingredients are overcooked. I have found that I prefer it chilled and not straight out of the cupboard, especially on hot days.I got the Zesty Lemon and I look forward to trying the Latin Citrus.Oh! And the color changing spoons are so cute!You really owe it to yourself to give this product a try. These Starkist Smart Bowls taste good. When I ordered them, I didn't even notice that they weren't just made with tuna. There's actually beans and pasta in them too. I got the zest lemon flavor and they taste good. I wasn't sure what to expect but I ended up liking them. I also like that they come with their own spoons to eat them with.

In addition to the tuna taste there is a little bit of a fishy taste initially with each bite, after a few bites I didn't notice it as much. The pasta and beans went well with the tuna. Super healthy lunch that I would eat again.

I thought maybe this blend wouldn't be good upon first impression but I was pleasantly surprised. It actually tastes pretty good. I do recommend adding a little seasoning or mayo to enhance the flavor.

These zesty lemon bowls were not good at all. Just a small amount of mushy beans, pasta, and tuna in a strange tasting sauce.I tried one, then threw the rest out.I'm not sure why anyone would want to eat these. It reminded me of one of these ready-to eat toddler meals, but with tuna in it.
