Bought to reduce dampness in a cellar, it arrived, plugged in and noted circa 85% humidity, its down to 65% the day after and has taken some 12l or water from the air in under 24 hours - including the time it took me to notice and empty the tank.only drawbacks are that the tank is awkward to remove and refit, its not difficult, just manual handling is awkward (it needs a hand hold on both sides to make it easier to carry), and a clear sight glass with a visible float would be nice (not essential though)its not too noisy, and has a slower fan speed which is far quieter as well, the cellar feels a lot drier, and warmer, the exhaust vent blows slightly warm air so keep that in mind when its both hot and humid

Looked up lots of reviews before choosing this dehumidifier and I must say I am not disappointed.Very easy to use, I mostly have it set to dry laundry. Very quiet and so easy to wheel around and compact enough to store .It is quite heavy to lift as i sometimes have upstairs and take downstairs, but I would definitely recommend this wee beauty.Easy to empty and replace tank.❤️❤️❤️

Bought this to prove a point at home - ie the amount of water that comes from drying washing indoors. Try it - you will be amazed at how much water is being released into your home otherwise!It has eradicated a damp issue which i believe was due to indoor drying of washing combined with house changes to reduce draughts etcLeft it 2 months from purchase to write this review as I wanted to be able to comment on running costs and reliability.Run this machine most days - for a significant proportion of the time, it has changed my electricity consumption by approximately 2 to 3 units per day average increase. The reliability has been great - there are other review comments that mention about pressing the buttons more than once to get a response - i find the initial press 'wakes' the interface, then the second press is registered as your button press.So in summary - very pleased - as I won the bet ;-) oh and the dehumidifier works very well.

We had a problem in winter with moisture upstairs. Mold grew in the bedrooms and it was particularly concerning in the kids rooms. I tried a cheap, small dehumidifier - around £70 quid and it seemed to help a little. It removed around 1ltr of water every week or so and I thought that was fine, but we still had mold and the corner of my bedroom was always damp. I tried opening the windows and airing the rooms, but that's hard in the dead of winter.I got this larger dehumidifier and it sorted the problem out overnight. Our entire upstairs is dryer, mold free, easier to heat and more comfortable.The problem damp corner in my room is now bone dry. I used to wipe the condensation away every day, but now it's dry all the time. Our room feels less cold and more comfortable. I feel like an old man saying this, but I've talked people's ear off about this dehumidifier.I empty it twice a day and it's always 1/2 full or full. That's 4ltrs or more it's pulling out of my housr every single day. Amazing! We have it in our master bedroom but it seems to have sorted the damp for all 3 bedrooms, although there is still condensation on the kids windows some mornings when it's been particularly cold. Our widdow never has condensation on it anymore.So if you're having issues with mold, do what I did: remove the mold, repaint the rooms with anti-mold paint and get one of these dehumidifiers.

Very compact,very quiet ideal with an heated airer too dry washing indoors in the winter for about 20p an hour combined with the two.

Easy to use, not too noisy although we turn it off at night. It does work well and does the job. I find it a bit tricky to get the water container out, more so when it is full......yes problem solved....take it out before it gets too full !!

Bad!! No star!!!I bought MONHOUSE dehumidifier from Amazon in 2021It never work. Try from different people and professional friends, still not work. It’s still brand new and keep in my home storeroom. Also try in different seasons and different wet room and wet weather. Still never work.I didn’t return because the product is very heavy and I need to pay the return cost.Very annoying and disappointed with this purchased whenever I see it from my storeroom. Not recommend!!

This dehumidifier is very good pretty quiet and does my very large conservatory easily my windows used to steamed up and wet.....no more my conservatory is lovely and dry I empty it once a day it's on wheels so you can move it easily has programs so you can set your desired level of humidity it's fairly light.....great product does the job well
