It's nice coffee and the spoon is cute but this is an expensive package
This coffee from cafe du monde is decent enough. It is slightly smoky, bitter, and nutty. The addition of chicory lowers the caffeine level, and chicory also has a high amount of inulin. Inulin can help improve gut health, reduce cholesterol, and regulate blood sugar. However, I am not sure these are benefits if you drink it in coffee. The cat spoon is whimsical though almost oddly long. Overall, it is pricey for this coffee and the spoon is interesting but doesn't add to the experience.

Tastes like I am back in New Orleans!
It has been a while, but when I took my first sip of this coffee I was transported to over a decade ago when I was in the Cafe du Monde drinking this coffee and eating a Beignet. Sadly I did not have the Beignet to accompany me this time. I give 5 stars for the coffee and authenticity of this but when I received the coffee, even though well packaged, it had a dent and puncture in the tin.
