Easy to use and comes out pretty good on bbq meat

This set of three different seasonings was not something I was very impressed with at the first pass. The “Asian BBQ Seasonings Collection - 3 Pack | Bougie BBQ | Gourmet Seasoning Pack | Artisanal Spice Blends | All Natural, No MSG, Fillers, or Anti-Caking Agents | Non GMO | Small Batch” comes in a very unimpressive container. But don’t let that fool you.The flavors are very nice. You get a large amount of each of the three different ones. You get a Fancy AF BBQ Rub, which is your standard BBQ rub, and a Korean BBQ Rub (which they call Spicy on their site and not on the bottle, the ingredients match however) which I always find to be a sweeter version with a bit more of a spicy level to it. Finally, they have a Japanese Teriyaki BBQ Rub, which I find to be more of a standard Teriyaki flavor mixed with a bit of what I associate more with traditional Korean BBQ flavorings.The seasoning flavors were good, you do have to use a fair amount of them. I do consider things like the “Natural Caramel Color” that is in some of these to be a little bit of a filler, I don’t know that we really need that in a rub. So that goes against their saying that there are no fillers in this. They provide you with a fair amount. The tins are filled all the way, with vacuum-sealed bags. However, once you open them. The storage will become more of an issue, especially if you live in a humid climate. The canisters offer very little protection against the elements for storage. I had to find alternative solutions to the ones they provided.

I've had a chance to try these dry rubs on chicken and pork. You can tell, right away, that the ingredients are top quality and fresh. I'm very impressed with the quality.The only thing that bothered me, and this is subjective, I didn't get the Japanese teriyaki flavor of one of them. It tasted good, just didn't remind me, in any way, of teriyaki. I've made my own teriyaki sauces, purchased some Japanese-made sauces, had it in restaurants, and I realize that there are many variations on a theme, so it's very subjective and probably has more to do with what you're used to.In any case, that's not a deal breaker, because they're all excellent and I'm just ignoring the titles they've given them. I highly recommend this brand of spices.
