This is just a straight tube with vertical adjustment and an adjustable head for angle. It works ok for my needs, but some type of angle adjustment half way up the shaft would be better for my needs.

This camera mount will securely position your desktop video cam on a pedestal mount atop a telescoping tube. It's footprint is seven inches in diameter, atop which you can place other desktop items. I chose the longer tube as I have two monitors. The camera was precariously mounted atop one monitor, but it was never the proper height or angle. This pedestal mount solved it all.

I was looking for a webcam mount that I could face downwards without any issues. My webcam isn't heavy (using the poly pro 5) but it holds it exactly at the downwards angle I need. Other bendy arm mounts would eventually start to droop, but this one has stayed exactly where I put it for over a week now.It's sturdy and has a heavy base. The base, however, wasn't really as heavy as I needed it for--but for normal on-desk operation, it should be perfectly adequate.

This webcam gooseneck tripod has a heavy, sturdy base and the gooseneck really helps to adjust the webcam easily. It’s very affordable too and I can move the webcam around during work calls and it’s been great. I highly recommend.

To be very fair, I have never owned or purchased a webcam stand before. This is my first. At first glance, for me, it looked intimidating. So, I left it for a couple of days then got it out to see if I could assemble it; that went very well and easy. Not complicated at all, however, the seller did not include paperwork or instructions at all. For someone like me, that is almost necessary. The site on Amazon does show a lot of detail; but still I'd like to have had that on paper. I have not received my webcam yet so when that comes and I can get it all working, I'll come back and edit and update this review. So far, I've only given 4 stars due to the lack of paperwork. This webcam stand is metal and arrived in perfect condition. The tightening feature in gold on the adjustment of height does tighten very well and the stand will remain stable. I love that feature. The packaging was excellent and very protective. As far as the stand alone, I am happy I chose it. So, for now, a four-star rating. More photos will be on the way.

I like the design and it's sturdy. Unfortunately, it's not tall enough for what I need it for, so I returned it.
