My 6 year old won't do chores if I ask her, but she happily draws 2 sticks a day from this container and does those chores. There is a wide variety of chores (and some fun surprises) and we have been able to do all of them or adapt them to our house. There are blanks sticks for your own custom chores too. Sure you could make something like this, but the price, quality and creativity was spot on for us. Happy with this purchase!

I love the idea of making chores fun for kids. I have two boys between 8 and 5 years old, of course it has always been a struggle to get them to pick up messes! We haven't actually had the chance to really use the chore sticks but the boys seemed excited when I explained what it was. I have read through each chore and my only issue is that a lot of them aren't age appropriate for my kids. Other than that it's a great idea to get the kids to help around the house and to teach some responsibility.

We use these chore sticks to assign responsibilities to each person in our family. Having the chores pre-listed makes it easy to identify what work needs to be completed. We distribute the sticks to each person, and the stick is returned once the chore is completed. Then, we total the sticks each person hands back in and provide allowance for the chores once we have inspected the job. This is a fun and easy way to organize chores. However, these could be easily made at home for less money. We opted to add sticks to the pack based on specialized chores we do in our home. You can also mark the reward for completing the chore on the back of the stick if that works for your family.

this is super easy to use with your kids, it has a lot of different chores for my kids to do so quality of this is great, it was money well spent due to my kids actually willing to do chores because of this amazing functional tactic

Absolutely a MUST GET! the kids love pulling a stick and chores get done! its a win win!I love that it has things I never even thought of putting on a chore chart! I only encountered a few sticks where writing was not as dark as some. but other than that this product is a must have! It isn't all chores, they do have some like free time for a certin amount of time, dance to one song and things like that. You will NOT be disappointed!!

I like and don’t like these. On one hand, it’s a great idea and it keeps kids engaged... and they ask to get a new job for the day by pulling out a stick. On the other hand, the printing on the sticks are very low quality and either very faded or almost gone. I wish the printing was more consistent. I can’t find an equivalent so these will have to do, but the printing is such poor quality.

I have two young children at home seven and 4 of age and they love the chores sticks. And so do I! Anytime either one of them is bored or becoming fussy or attaching themselves to me I asked them to find something to do and if they can't find something to do we pick at your stick. And if we get in trouble we pick at your stick. They are all already pre written out and perfect so far for our family I have yet to find one that hasn't worked. All different skills levels

If your kids are anything like my kids and don’t enjoy doing jobs this is the perfect thing for you and your family. My kids enjoying pulling sticks and making a game of this product. They never know what the stick will say and you can also create some of your own with the blank sticks. I would recommend this if your children don’t enjoy cleaning up around the house and helping out cause it’s an easy and fun way to clean while making a game out of it. What kid does not like making a game out of things..?
