SMITHA Watch Bands Compatible with Amazfit T-Rex/T-Rex Pro/T-Rex 2/T-Rex Ultra, Rugged Nylon Sports Strap, Military Hook & Loop Closure

I bought the SMITHA band for the T-REX 2 watch. 1st I want to say the only reason I did not purchase the OEM band from AMAZFIT (which I feel is a great band) is because the bands are currently NOT available and the response I got from AMAZFIT was they don't know when the bands will be available and my OEM band was reaching end of life. I will apologize if this review gets a bit long but I feel it is important to assist new buyers on how to replace the band with the special tool that is included in the kit since some negative reviews said the tool wouldn't work. I have included pictures to assist in my explanation. 1. the tool included in the kit has 3 prongs and fits the T-REX 2 nut perfectly. 2. The band removal nuts are on the "UP/DOWN" side of the watch. 3. The head of the band pin is on the "SEL/BACK" side of the watch and is slotted to lock the pin into place, you will destroy the tool if you try to unscrew from that side. 4. Once you have loosened the nut, use the tool to push the pin outwards so you can finish pulling the pin and remove the band. I have a picture of what the pin and nut look like after removal, you can see the flat surface on the head of the pin that locks it from turning. 5. Installation is quite easy and you just reverse the removal procedure. My review is only based on the 1st day of wearing the watch with the new SMITHA band, the velcro closure seems quit strong and secures the watch firmly to your wrist. I have not exercised or showered with the watch yet so I cannot say how it performs under those conditions but my 1st impression is it should work great. Only time will tell how the band material and stitching will hold up under normal wear and tear. Hope this helps with those interested in purchasing this band.

So glad to get rid of the rubber band (strap) that came with the T-Rex Ultra. Normally I purchase the metal mesh band (which you usually have to purchase several till you find one that is decent quality), but this popped up in my search for replacement band, so I figured I would give it a try. I like the feel of it, and might not go metal mesh. I still have not done the shower test, this may change things. The rubber band (strap) after show, hated it. Metal mesh band after shower, love it. Canvas strap after show, unknown. Will update review after taking a shower with this band, if it does not work out.The ends are supposedly "Stainless Steel", they feel and sound like plastic. Will update review if I find out they are plastic. It has a unique clasp that I have not run into before, but I have only replace a watch bad 8 times in my life. Basically you remove old strap, then put the spring pin (well really a rod with 2 screws on the end for this watch) back in, then attach the strap using the locking clasp (might not be using the correct terminology here, photo provided). SimpleAs for the tool that came with band, it worked fine for me. I purposefully used the provided tool, rather than my far higher quality tools that I own, due to reading other reviews. It is the standard low quality small tool that come with fix-it type replacements kits. Since there are only 2 (though I did 3 till I figured out that I did not have to unscrew the opposite side) screws that need to be unscrewed/screwed, tool functioned till I finished band replacement.

BE CAREFUL DESCRIPTION SHOWS THAT IT FITS A REGULAR T-REX, IT DOES NOT! UNLESS THEY SENT ME THE WRONG WATCH BAND. JL

I had a small issue with the strap but I spoke with customer service and they were courteous, quick to respond and quick to address my concerns. I love the fit and feel and would absolutely purchase a Hemsut strap again.

Los materiales y acabados se ven de excelente calidad, ponerla fue muy fácil, ajusta perfecto, muy cómoda.

Band fits the trex2 well and is comfortable to wear. Easy to adjust. I removed some of the branding from it by picking at the stitching as its a bit loud and obnoxious. My only issue is that after a while the band starts to smell bad, especially if you wear it during workouts. There is no real way to clean it while it's on the watch so I had to take it off and try soaking it to remove the odor. I am just going to go back to my silicone band which is easier to clean and doesn't smell bad.

Tuve que hacer modificaciones a la banda, pues el terminal de acople al reloj no casaba con él, y al quitarlo y poner el original del reloj, ya hacia que la pulcera quedara 1 pulgada mas larga, asi que no correspondía a la medida publicada en la talla.Al final tocó modificar la banda y abolir ambos terminales de acople para dejarla directa al reloj.
