wow, ladies, this suit flatters! i recently gained 20lbs due to perimenopause and was not looking forward to trying to find a suit with ample coverage and comfort. i’ve always liked boy-leg underwear and wanted something to cover my ever growing derrière, so when i saw these suits, it was hard to not at least try.straight out of the box, i thought it wouldn’t fit; it looked so small. but it fit, with room to spare, and i was amazed at how flattered all the parts i was trying to hide. it’s soooo cute and retro.i stepped into my hallway from the bathroom and called my husband into the hall to see if i was just imagining things and he said, “WOW. You look like a pin-up girl from the 50s; I love it!”SOLD. i’m getting another color ASAP.

So impressed with this. True to size and the fit is amazing. Looks just as good or better than the pictures.The quality appears to be petty for a well.So glad I ordered. Going back for another in a different color.Very figure flattering.

For those of us who are on the modest side, this is a great suit. The pros- style, fit, it stays put. Cons- the tie kind of hurts my neck to give the support I need up top, the tummy control is ok/fine. I also think I could’ve bought one size smaller but then my cups would’ve runneth over. For reference, I’m 5’4”, 120-125lbs, 34c, size 2 at the Gap/BR/Old Navy and have loose tummy flab, not a big pooch. It’s worth trying out just for the cute retro style.

I like the suit. Fits well. The one I purchased was "purple" and does look like a dark plum purple in the Amazon photo. However, in person the color is more of a maroon. The photo in my review shows it next to something that is a plum purple to have something to compare it to. I'm not a fan of any reds so I will be exchanging it for the navy.

This suit is great! It both hides my hip/thigh point and enhances my bust. Looks cute and retro. Love love love!

The swimsuit was poorly made not true to size. Didn't fit. Not for tall woman

I wanted to love this bathing suit, it looks so cute in the picture. When I received it, the top part was way too small for my boobs but the rest fit. I tried to squish my top in but it didn’t work. I do have a large chest so my experience may be different. I was hoping it looked like the picture, but it just didn’t.

Then I saw this lovely vintage-style option and hoped really hard that it would fit because it’s super cute!And fit it did!As a guide for women with a similar body type to me (bit of a pear), here is how it fit me: I am 5’7” and 152 pounds. I have a very small rib cage area (my bra band size is either 30 or 32). My measurements are 37” bust, 29” waist, 40” high hip, 42” low hip. I don’t have a particularly long torso, though I am perhaps a bit taller at 5’7”.I bought a Medium based on review comments indicating that it ran big (though some people mentioned it runs small, more people seemed to be indicating it runs large).What I love:1. I purchased the black and white polka-dot suit. It’s so very vintage and cute as a button!2. I find halter-style tops to be flattering and this doesn’t disappoint.3. While I typically require underwired swimsuits, this suit works even though there is none (there are built-in cups and a supportive band under the bust which do the trick for me).4. I like the cute “boy shorts” legs. They add some coverage but look funky not frumpy (think Marilyn Monroe in her famous 1-piece white swimsuit).5. It suits pear-shaped me (I’m not stretching the polka dots into ovals too badly in the caboose area).6. The entire suit is lined.7. It is long enough in the torso for me (though just long enough).I am thinking about purchasing another colour, but the decision on which is tough!Okay I’m off to the beach … catch you cool cats later.

I LOVE this bathing suit! Size recommendations was perfect so thank you for that. The suit is the most flattering bathing suit on my body I have ever owned. I highly recommend thos bathing suit. Makes me look 3 sizes smaller just from the cut and design of the suit.A plus plus plus plus

Colour is wrong, burgundy/red instead of putple. Fit is good and true to size. Beware the interior is white so the straps are not one colour but two, would not have purchased if I knew this.

I am 65 year old. Looking for something modest to wear on vacation. It fits beautifully . True size good quality.

Unpleased with the fact that I NEED to pay for returning this swimsuit that is Too Big I was going to order a smaller size but will NOT because of this
