I’m not the type that leaves reviews unless I’m extremely happy or unhappy with the products/services I purchased. I was pleasantly surprised with these tubes!I have been on the quest to find affordable color tube lights for my dance filming projects and had tried a couple of them that were pricy and didn’t meet my expectations. Ended up returning them all. I was very surprised with the quality of these lights and the range of colors they provided. The app isn’t perfect but offers more features than I was expecting. You can even upload a photo to have it match the color scheme! I only wish it would let you record your own settings. It does provide more than 200 preset modes with the option to adjust the speed and brightness of each so one of them would do for now. The remote control is bit wacky as it doesn’t sync with the lights every time and I had to unload and reload the batteries for it to work but I guess I will stick with the app. Can’t wait to see how they look in my next video and hopefully these are keepers that I won’t have to return. I’m tired of having to keep looking for my ideal lighting! I only wish they come with those low lighting tripods but I guess I can just find them on Amazon elsewhere. I’d recommend these to people who are looking to spice up your videos or ambiance lighting!

I chose these specifically for Photography Lighting as it is described, and by extension video work. This is definitely not for that purpose, and I'm pretty disappointed.For it to be used for photo/video lighting, I would expect some things. One would be the ability to control the color temperature. I cannot do that from the remote. There is only one "white light" mode, and there is no control over color temp of that mode.I would also expect accuracy, and this thing isn't even close. Along the length of each tube, the color changes between 4-5 or more "off white" colors. It can't even maintain the same color of "white" across the tube.With regard to the hue angle control. Many times both tubes land on the same color you choose, but frequently enough, when you pick a color, one tube will land on a completely different and random color.Lastly, the remote has to be pried open with a screwdriver. I guess the molding for a battery door was just too expensive.While it is clear that it doesn't include the stands, and I'm not dinging it for that, they really should provide them and charge for it. As it is, you have to hang them or lean them up against something, which is really limiting.These are not for photo or video work. They are just for DJ/party. For that they would get a better rating form me, but that's not why I chose them, and they are being sold as such.

The colors are really saturated and look awesome. I'm not using these for filming or anything professional, I'm just using them as accent lights in my game room. The RGB wave mode is so bright and the colors look fantastic. If you want some stunning accent lighting for a game room or anything else, these are great!

These lights are super bright and the color is perfect. They can change colors together or separate and mounting to a light stand is super easy. The included transport bag is well made, though not protective from bends and bangs, but the lights are so solidly made that light hits shouldn't be an issue.
