Bought to decorate as Christmas gifts, ideal for such a thing.The wood stains well but be aware that the glue around the inside of the box and lid does not, and had I bought these to sell, I wouldn't feel like they showcased the quality I like for my Etsy items. For a gift, though, they were fine. I hid the bottom part with printed paper.There were only a couple of rough edges that I sanded very lightly, the hinges were good and the lock was just as good.I laser engraved the design and it came out beautifully.These worked about £5.50 each so fair price.

In essence, they 'do exactly what it says on the tin' - They're nice little wooden boxes for all your trinkets. Well finished and nicely lightweight. Handy to have for your screws and tools!

While these boxes are technically unfinished. Ie: they are plain wood ready for etching, painting, wood burning. The wood itself is smooth and free of rough edges. The hinges are set securely in place, and the locking mechanism is durable.
