Q: Where is this manufactured?

Made in China? NO SALE! DO NOT BUY CHINA JUNK! YOU ARE NOT SAVING MONEY!!!

Q: is the frame around the griddle plastic or metal?

It's all metal except the handles. They are plastic and detachable with a metal sliding hinge that releases with an easy button click.

Q: Is this griddle immersible?

You cannot immerse the griddle into water. When I clean mine, I set it in an empty sink and run hot water over it and wash it with detergent. I keep the end that has the plug on it sticking out of the sink so it doesnt get wet.

Q: Is this good for bacon?

It’s great. If you like it crispy and flat get your hands on a grill reflector/weight
