I am so happy I found these. I’ve been looking for some thing to make my litter box higher, but I needed the opening on the long side of the litter box as you can see in the picture. But the cover that comes with this particular litter box opens on the short side, which wouldn’t work for me. These are a wonderful solution and so far has worked for a month now 100% they haven’t pulled them off and I wipe them down every couple of days with a Clorox wipe just to make sure that the plastic doesn’t hold in a urine scent of my male cats. I am a new loyal customer. good quality on the velcro and the thickness of the plastic is perfect.

The sticky strips are very strong so a little tricky if you have to readjust. Also, going around the corner will cause the top not to be totally even, but that's more of an aesthetic issue. It's nice not to have litter flung out from the other sides of the box. Keeps cleanup easier. Still would recommend as it does help.

My boy has a habit of arching up whenever I clean the litterbox and/or add new litter to it. I get it...he has to add his scent back, but it comes with the arching and marking beyond the already jumbo high sides it has. These were so easy to install and it has saved the walls!

I am happy to see that cat product designers are finally recognizing the need for products like this. I have had cats my whole life but now I have my first stand up girl. She squats to poop but not to pee. Now that she is no longer a kitten, she has grown taller and you know the rest. So I started looking for a solution. This works pretty good in a small rectangular box. But I have three cats so we do better with bigger boxes. I am happy I ordered these because we travel with the cats and when we do, we use smaller boxes. But for a home product, I am happier with the 15” high box I ordered on Amazon than the pee shields.

We have a very large but anxious kitty who sometimes will pee so close to the edge of litter box it splashes up and over. I tried a new litter pan from Amazon, stainless with a plastic 3-sided wall that fits over top. What a waste. Pee leaked in between pan & wall because they don’t seal well at all. It just sits, can move around etc. Plus, just not that high. These shields get attached to inside of your litter pan, which is where they should go. Anything that gets splashed onto them falls INTO kitty litter, not all around outside. Velcro allows you to take off and clean, but easy enough to swipe clean while still attached. Plus the added height is enough. Can’t beat the price. Hardly the most attractive litter pan for sure, but it’s in laundry room where no one sees it.

I was really hoping this would work, but sadly, as soon as I got it out of the packaging I saw it was a no-go. According to the instructions, you’re supposed to attach Velcro to the inside of the litter box and then add the other side of the Velcro to these plastic sheets. I’m not going to add Velcro to the inside of the litter box. It would quickly become unsanitary and I don’t see how it could survive routine cleaning. Secondly, the plastic sheets are not large enough to really help with a jumbo litter box. I really regret this because of the lack of utility and also all the plastic - both in the product and its packaging, all of which will now go in a landfill.

These shields have made a huge difference in our clean-up time. We have 2 goobers who like to pee straight out of the box at high velocity - even if they're in the box. Now they simply can't. Everything is easy to clean and our floors are now pee-free.I had to modify the shield positions for our setup, but no biggie.And I have leftover panels if needed.I highly recommend these shields if you have a straight-shooter in the family.

I received this parcel just now, and there were no adhesive strips included in the package. The package was also slightly damaged.
