Rite in the rain products are very good quality. Many of them are not cheap, although some of the notebooks aren’t too costly. But you get what you pay for. I’ve never used such functional and sturdy writing pads and the quality of this pencil matches them. Eraser works significantly better on the rite in the rain paper than anything else I’ve tried. This particular model has the larger eraser and it’s worth it.

Good pencil, but….
But it is still mostly plastic, and needs a bit of sanding on the grip. Cheaper options are better.
