okay, let's get real. These are cheap, disposable pens...There are some inconsistencies between the nibs of one pen and the next and ink flow, but these are disposable pens. They bleed and ghost, but these are disposable pens. I use them for notes I take on articles I read so the bleeding and ghosting doesn't matter much. Of course the bleeding and ghosting make the notes look a little sloppy, but they are notes for me and like I said it didn't matter to me. These are fun to use if you are new to fountain pens and are trying to get used to writing with them. Suggestion: buy the pack with different colors for experimentation. A dozen of the same color was too big of a commitment for me.

I have been using the turquoise pens for decades. They ink color is very close to Waterman's South Sea Blue. I had several, purchased years back a finally used the last of my supply. Very happy to find that Varsity disposable fountain pens are still available. I have a small collection of nice fountain pens but still will often grab one of these for trips or journaling. Write nicely and last long enough to make them worthwhile. I stocked up again and bought a dozen. I put 10 of them into a vacuum sealed bag for preservation until needed. Obviously, I would buy these again!

This is my second box of these - absolutely LOVE them. They write well, if you look closely you can see when you're running out of ink, which is nice. You can turn the pen in different directions and it writes in either medium or very fine line. Color is bright turqoise which I really like. Great buy!

I love these fountain pens because it adds more character to handwriting, but they do tend to run out of ink rather quickly. The color is a beautiful turquoise.

Although I like the ink color (the turquoise is a very nice blue) the nib produces a very thick pen line. It is not at all like a fountain pen conventionally writes. It is not a medium point - it is a thick point. The pen also feels like I'm using a fiber tip (like a flair pen).I wish Berol Brand pens would reintroduce their 'fountaine' disposable pen. That was a wonderfully made disposable fountain pen.

I love turquoise, so when I found the Pilot Disposal Fountain (turquoise ink), I was "over the moon". It's ideal for those who love to write notes, letters, and cards to family, friends, and clients alike. It costs a bit more, but is worth the investment. Additional ink colors: Black, Blue, Purple.

I have a quite a few fountain pens and these by far write the smoothest. They don't skip or dry out. I have 3 colors and love them all.
