What an amazing movie, the anamation is fabulous, told like they where wooden puppets adn the music is great!!!! fun for all ages

Lovely animation and great songs. Perfect for an afternoon movie session x

I'd not seen this animation before but my grandchildren requested it. They loved it which is all that matters.

good soundtrack and such a nostalgic movie

This is a colourful spectacle, full of movement and music, which I reckon even very young children would enjoy, but youngsters of all ages would find something to engage them, and for adults, it's an insight into traditions and legends of The Day of the Dead, going all the way back to the Mayans, I believe. The action moves very quickly but you can still see the attention to detail in the animation. It is a story within a story, as a group of wayward children are taken to a museum which at first they're not at all keen to visit, but the messages they hear from the Book of Life get through to them, as they can't help but become involved with the characters. Imagine lots of kids wanting to watch it over and over - might do same!

You MUST see this movie. While overshadowed by some blocks and being chilly this is colourfully heart warming, very funny, and easily rivals the other two.My, almost 4yo, daughter's fave and ranks highly in Mum & Dad's chart too.Such a vivid backdrop to a story as old as time, with solid friends vying for the heart of a girl, but Maria's strong character shines through and the weaving stories of love and friendship are beautifully told.My daughter loves to play with pretend Manolo and Maria, elements of both the characters ave story sparking imagination and questions.Visually clever and superbly bound together with fun mariachi covers and original tracks that have been on repeat in our house since the original cinema trip, it's been hard trying to explain that we can't see again there so am fully expecting to wear it the blu ray.

We were flicking through Amazon Prime movies on our smart TV, looking through movies to watch as a family, and came across this one and my daughter chose it even though none of us had heard of it before.It took a little while to get used to the character animation and to figure out the story but it soon fell into place and the characters came to life.It is a wonderful movie - full of vibrant colours - super characters - centred around a Mexican folk tale with some modern songs intertwined.Watch in HD / Blue Ray to get the most out of the amazing colours and then sit back and enjoy one of the best animated, family, movies released in a long time.

Lo compre y como es importación tenía la duda si tendría en audio latino, pero viene incluido en el Blu Ray, el DVD no lo e checado llegó antes de lo esperado y está mucho más barato que en muchos establecimientos, buena calidad de imagen sonido, el pedido llegó integro sin abolladuras o rayones nada de nada (no me gustó la portada de María me gusta más la Catrina) el contenido es lo que importa una película del grandioso Guillermo del Toro y una buena oportunidad para adquirir la es una gran compra.
