this was a good buy. I saw the item on tiktok (as you do) and believed the hype. Although didn't feel safe buying through tiktok, i did feel safer buying through amazon - partly because I'm a prime member and the thought of a free return or refund etc was more appealing if it wasn't as advertised. Firstly, it doesn't cut your split ends - what it DOES do is trim the ends of your hair (approx 5mm). It just so happens that 80% is likely to have split ends, but want is noticeable (and secondly) if that by trimming the ends, chops off any dead ends, so your hair feel better (ie in better condition). This is also helpful if you are adverse to going to the hairdressers because asking for a trim and cutting off 1 inch, always turns out to be 6 inches and the classic saying "you needed it". No Susan, I didn't.So how does it work - well it was already charged and the wireless aspect is a good sign. Its not as easy as the tiktok videos until you really get the hang of it. Don't do too much at a time - its best in small sections. If you feel you need to run it through your hair again, do it. It doesn't cut large sections, unlike the hairdressers.Some tips for a good session - firstly, make sure your hair is clean. Mine was a little greasy when i tried it and it didn't like it. The booklet said this also, so its a very good point. Don't have any products on it. It doesn't like it. Secondly, make sure your hair is brushed throughout. Even if you have brushed it and its knot free, make sure each section is brushed through before using the item. Trust me - if its got a hint of a knot, its like walking in sludge - its really hard to pull through and you are more likely to pull out some hair and scream thinking its cut more than the ends..... nope, a similar analogy would be stabbing someone with a blunt spoon. Its not a brush, it will pull out your hair.Thirdly - cleaning it. Make sure the area set up is accessible and easy to clean. You will get bits of debris (ie the ends that have been cut off) and you don't want these buggers to stab you in the toe when walking around barefoot. if your preference is to watch the little capsule get full of trimmed hair, well that's your pleasure but when emptying the capsule, make sure the product is locked.other than that - enjoy using it! I am just waiting for another 4 weeks to repeat this all again!

I've got to say I was a little skeptical but this is great. So glad I ordered and arrived pretty quick too.
