This kit has several elements, and all of them are fun and worth the buy!The red star bulbs are white, but glow yellow when turned on. I like the yellow, and I was pleasantly surprised. I think it makes the star a little more subtle and fun, and feels more authentic. The bulbs and star are plastic, but hold up well. The unit takes 2 AA batteries.The mini clapboard is easy to loose yourself in the ACTION clap of it shutting. Once you snap that a few times, you can't help but keep fidgeting and clapping it open and closed. It would make a good decoration, or just a fun play prop.The keychains are maybe a bit out of place as a decoration, but great as a give-away for a party favor. "HOLLYWOOD" on the keychain may not feel as true to form, but I think it looks great and I like that touch.

The clapboard has not been used since we got this set. The star, however, has been on prominent display for the entire holiday season. The star doesn't shine too brightly so it doesn't hurt your eyes. the light is very gentle and soft. It would be nice if there were a built in timer so that the battery doesn't drain out if left on for extended periods of time. All in all, it's a cute prop for your home decor or your aspiring director.

These are great if you are having a movie themed party, or even just to use on a bookshelf or something if you are a big movie fan. The star lights up via 2 AA batteries and there is a switch so you can turn it on or off. The clapper board is functional and looks good, and the keychains are my favorite. They are so cute and they clapper boards are attached to magnifying glasses.

The star is made so cheap and didn’t work

This decoration set is lovely and well-made. The pieces are light and look great once you turn on the lights.In terms of the size, they are on the smaller side, but that worked for our popcorn table. These decorations are versatile because you can display them as a group or break them apart.

The craftmanship is great, the keychains are a great idea too. For me, they're smaller than I expected though. (Not the keychains). I am using them in my movie themed living room as decor for the walls and I wish they were bigger. They're cute though.
