Design is beautiful, though it is not an original and is pretty much a replica of the Pottery Barn lantern’s design. Very elegand design though. BUT - do not believe the marketing description of “superior quality and premium metal”. This is very cheaply made and poor craftsmanship. The top of the lantern is not even soldered together - there are air gaps along all 4 edges on the “roof” of it. It was very disappointing to see. The marketing photo shows solid top with no gaps on the connecting lines.In addition, the Metal is very thin, will not work for outside as it is incredibly light and the candle would not weigh it down enough for sure. So indoor use only.Love the look, hate the quality which makes the product unfairly priced. It truly is really cheaply made - truly subpar craftsmanship.Hobby Lobby has the very same design in silver in a much better quality (heavier metal and fully soldered) for $32.99 for the large a $22.99 for the small, and subtract the Christmas sale of 50%. So comparably this price is not a fair valuation for this quality. It would be if metal was heavier and design fully soldered.

I don’t think I paid very close attention when I purchased as there are no glass panes on the sides. The lantern is completely open which is a bit worrisome for small kids and pets. Otherwise very nice looking lantern. I decided to use indoors so I’m not sure how it would fare outside.

Do not buy this product. It’s just cheap plastic. I bout 4 and all of them were covered in dents and dings. The dollar store has better quality lanterns.
