I have two small dogs ranging from 13 to 14½ yrs old. They were having problems on my kitchen's tile floor when they are eating or drinking, that is, their paws start splaying out to the sides. This mat gives them a stable surface which makes all the difference in the world. Yes, it also handles dribbling and spilled food, etc. but we love it for making their lives easier!

This is perfect for my pets eating area, it came a little crimped from being folded during shipping but laid flat almost immediately, love it!

Bought to go with Amazon Basic food/water dishes…Great. Holds both in place and does not move around.

I used to always use the rug type under bowl mats and they did not protect my floors from water. Bought two of these mats one for each dog and they are fabulous. No water gets through because of the material so my floors are safe highly recommend if you have messy drinkers.

If water gets on it it runs off the issue is it’s not larger enough to cover the area the water leaks the worse at
