Grips the imagination!
This book is not at all what I was expecting. I was expecting a boring analysis.I was not expecting the true crime scene, and the way I found myself spellbound as I walked through houses, drove through neighborhoods, and looked at documents wanting to cry out for justice! This is the story of Betty Broderick. It’s the story of a murder driven by madness when one person wields that much clever power over another person. It’s the story of a true crime, with real people, real places, and real deals that the writer has carefully documented to bring you on a tour of San Diego and this particular event. This is a story of justice, injustice, mercy, and love. This love is a kind of unconditional love for humankind that would cause one person to devote so much time and energy, as the writer did!, to weave and proclaim and publish a story that deserves to be told. This is the story of real estate, and what documents mean, and why they matter, perhaps in, nay, especially in a case of murder, and divorce.I don’t often write reviews, but I am happy to go first in raising my glass to the author for this well-researched, well-documented thriller.

Very interesting read
I’ve read just about everything on this case, so this approached it from a different angle. It confirmed mt thoughts. Dan really did cheat Betty out of a lot of money. It’s a shame. If he had just given her here fair share of the marital assets, he and Linda might still be alive. The legal system in San Diego was clearly weaponized against her.

Behind the Scene Details - Excellent Read
Many articles, books, television presentations, etc. have been published about the November 1989 murder that shook San Diego. This new book features a different aspect of the event. The author, a real estate broker, researched and reviewed hundreds of public records that detail the buying and selling of real properties by the three principals , the two persons murdered and the woman found guilty of the crime. The reader will see how these public documents reveal what can be interpreted as deception. Did deception play a part in the crime? Read this fascinating book and ponder about it.

Boring
I found this book to be very boring. I guess it would be a good read if you were trying to take a nap or fall asleep at night.
