Compressed Coco Fiber Peat 1.45-Pound (645 Gram) Brick

It comes in a very compacted brick but once you add water.... whoa! It’s a lot! & i use it to mix with potting soil to help with drainage. I had an avocado plant and the soil just wasn’t drying out for weeks. I mixed it with half of this stuff and it made the soil very light and fluffy. I prefer my soil to be fast draining because I could always water it if need be. This definitely helps with drainage and aeration.

I use this for propagating succulents. Easy to use and works very well, just mist it once daily.First pic shows what looks like a dead leaf, but it has sprouted a new baby! I was so surprised at this. I have a lot in the works that are either sprouting new babies or are sprouting roots.

I was surprised to see it arrive quickly as a small brick sized block. It’s amazing how it expands to fill a large pot. No mess inside the house and it really holds moisture well. I plan to get more of these for my outdoor garden in springtime to use in the hard clay soil areas that are too dry for good planting.

The product seems to be good quality, however I only got about half of what it was supposed to expand to.

This thing gives you soooooo much coco peat! I was not prepared for how much it would expand! Nice and absorbent. Great for my plants.

Used this for our worm bins and it is good, I should have ordered more as I split this between 2 worm bins and it was not enough. Over all it has kept the moisture and the worms have been happy.

Seriously, I love this stuff. I use it as a mixed with potting soil or to top off existing plants. I think I just keep buying it because #1 Amazon will deliver it and #2 I love to watch it expand. I always break off a small piece and leave the entire brick for later use. It's so much fun! Oh, and useful.
