The whole cemo team was apprising about this cool socks! No hassle to put ice pack or changing anything.. it’s great to use , soft and so compact! Long lasting till the end of my cemo. Prevented the side effects of cemo!

They don’t stay cold. I need extra ice packs.

Having a pretty active family, I have started collecting ice packs for a variety of uses. While the traditional square or rectangular packs work, it is nice to have ones made for specific parts of the body. This set is touted to fit over/around your head as well as your hands and feet which it does well. Head Pack: The gel ice pack portion is only on one side with the other being a stretchy fabric. This pack has gel cooling all around in a cylinder so the top and bottom are open. I prefer to have the cooling go all the way around but be aware if this is not your preference. While I don't have migraines or sinus issues, this was nice as a slightly weighted eye cover when not frozen and is quite comfortable when frozen as well. I do imagine it would provide migraine relief both from the weighted eye covering and the cooling. I found this comfortable to put on without needing any towel or cloth as a barrier. It stayed cold for the 30 minutes I wore it and expect it would last even longer based on how cold it still was when removed. Feet Packs: I do have occasional soreness in my feet and find that ice packs really help. The packs are kind of like puffy booties and not really intended to do much beyond sitting while wearing them. The are not overly loose, but not exceptionally tight either. For my feet I do prefer a snugger pack to really get the cold into sore spots, but despite this being looser I found it still did a good job cooling. The pack stayed cold for about 20 minutes. Hand Packs: These are like puffy mittens and provide solid cooling. It is a bit tough to get both on at the same time as you cannot really use the Velcro on the second mitten since your other hand is inside a puffy freezer glove. If you don't have someone to help out, you can always cool one hand at a time. Similar to the foot packs, these stayed cold for about 20 minutes. The included directions are pretty meager but there is little to know other than put these in the freezer and then use them on the appropriate parts of your body. There is an included plastic bag with a zipper closure. I have some ice packs that do recommend storing them in such a bag when freezing. That said, there is no notation of doing this in the packaging, so I imagine the plastic bag is dominantly to help protect the pack and make storage easy as well as keep everything clean. While intended for very specific needs, I find this set works very well.

I have caught the menopause and spend a ton of time trying to alleviate hot flashes. I LOVE these gel packs. If I put them on my neck or hands it helps stop the hot flash like magic. I just get them cool and put them at my bedside and in the night, I can put them on or even rest them on my neck for immediate relief. I was most interested in the foot packs because I often get this thing where my feet are uncomfortably hot at when I’m first in bed. I used to have to get up and soak them in cool water but that would heat up again. Miserable. Doctors told me to “try not to think about it.” 😑 These foot packs are amazing. I actually just put them in the fridge and they are the perfect amount of cold to cool my feet down and let me sleep. Quality seems good and they stay cool for a long time.

One of the FIRST things I noticed about these is that they had some weight to them. A lot of cold gel pack kits like this don't tend to have much weight to them but these are a WHOLE other story and it's great! Takes just a little bit in the freezer and then you slip them on and they feel wonderful. I use them to cool off or if I am feeling under the weather and they are definitely serving their purpose. The other nice thing about these is that there isn't individual gel packs you slip in, it's all just one which is why it's a bit on the weighted side which isn't a problem for me! One thing to keep in mind that the cap is more more like a headband but nontheless, it's still quite nice. For reference these takes hours to cool off, and you get roughly up to an hour of cool time with them but due to the weighted aspect they still feel quite nice even after that point.

Sometimes I review a product that I would not know existed but for the Vine program. This and its similar products are one of those things. This is my third review in this area - the cap is similar to a previously reviewed product that I liked. Fits most heads comfortable - at room temp it is cool and I enjoy wearing it to relax or meditate. The gloves are large and so are the socks. They will fit almost everyone. Again my use is likely room temp meditation separation from the outside world. Freezing these are using them as intended intimidates me - I expect it to be very cold - I will leave that to the buyer searching for this type of use. Read all the health warnings for use in this mode. Some folks may have issues with the cold contact. The products are quite heavy due to the gel filling. I left out photos as the manufacturer photos are representative.

The texture of the different pieces are smooth and the gel combination is very comfortable. It has some weight to it so adds a bit of compression to the cooling. No more holding a cold pack on your head. The socks and gloves/mittens are great as you don't have to slide ice packs into a set of socks and gloves as the socks and gloves/mittens are designed to go in the freezer and then you put them on. There are straps at the openings to help secure them in place. While there is a slight gap where each side is sewn together, it's not near as much of a gap as the socks and gloves/mittens that you have to put frozen inserts. You get almost full coverage around the entire foot and hand.

My wife used the gloves & foot when she is doing Chemo but not the head type since this was done by the machine in the hospital. But they can stay cold for almost 40 minutes but need to keep in the freezer for 48H.
