This is great. Ready to use and very high quality. Bought it for my husband to store his paranormal investigations. He said it is a great product and highly recommends it to anyone who needs extra storage for anything.

This is what I use to back up everything. Well designed, reliable and probably the fastest drive I've ever had in real world use, but be warned that it wont work on devices that cannot power it, even if the ports are compatible. You need a HDD port, or a USB port that is HDD ready. They look the same but are different (it also has a USB-C attachment that fits securely and seamlessly, despite what some reviews have said). This is the case with most such drives, but it might not be something most people realize as it's a "USB device". Sometimes, there will be a dedicated HDD port as well as a regular USB port. They also have a tendency to warm up, and this one can get very hot if doing work for extended periods. However, it's never had any actual issues.

This has been a great wee buy I’ve used this to store everything and I’ve not even reached the half way full point. Has a tool kit that installs to make it easier for downloading but not needed. I’ve used this brand before and they’ve always lasted well. Had others that haven’t so I definitely picked this for my important files.

Bought two of these drives to replace older, smaller drives. I've used numerous Seagate external drives for various purposes, such as backing up files, or extra storage on my PS4, so I was confident in buying these. However almost as soon as I plugged them in issues began.The first immediately span up to full speed, producing a high pitched whine, and got hot fast. Nothing I did would stop this, including removing and reattaching the drive, rebooting my PC and formatting the drive.The second threw out errors any time I attempted to use it, causing Windows to say there was a fault with the drive. Running the Windows tool to fix this returned no errors, however as soon as I attempted to use the drive again it froze my entire PC, forcing me to hard shut down my computer.Quick searches online found me no real solutions to these problems, and within 2 hours of them arriving I had no confidence in them being fit for purpose. I cannot in good faith recommend these to anyone.

I use it for the Time Machine and it just works.

I like the portability. However, it has McAfee (Security) and you have to be careful as if you click on 'do you want this app to make changes' it will change your operating system and I have to constantly reset my OS as soon as it finishes uploading. Also, not all files can be backed up. I guess in my case these files are password protected. I am not a techy person but do my best to program the back up files as often as I can.

Great price. Nice, reliable 4TB drive. I have several other Seagate One Touch drives and they perform well and last a long time.

Writing speed is way faster

Dopo soli 30 giorni dall'utilizzo il prodotto è andato in blocco e non funziona più. Ho perso ore sul loro sito per cercare di risolvere il problema in autonomia senza nessun risultato. Dal loro sito non c'è verso di poter contattare l'assistenza in nessun modo e quindi non è possibile restituire il prodotto o richiedere la riparazione pur essendo in garanzia. Servizio pessimo, truffaldino da denuncia perchè non rispetta le normative italiane in termini di assistenza e garanzia. Procedo con denuncia alle autorità per far si che nessun altro possa rimanere truffato. La loro sede italiana non esiste ed è la sede di un corriere, il che la dice lunga.
