The fabric used in this shirt is moisture-wicking, which means it can effectively absorb and disperse sweat, keeping you dry and comfortable during physical activities.

Unless the clothing in particular has large gaps in the fabric that lets sunlight through or otherwise allows UV rays to pass through, there's really nothing all that special about a shirt that claims to be "sun protection". Obviously it only protects where it covers and it only covers the short sleeve area that a shirt normally does.The fabric itself feels more coarse than other polyester shirts and this one IS 100% polyester. I think I prefer the coarser feel to the silky feel of polyester. Examining the shirt up close it DOES seem to let a fair amount of light pass through, but not so much that it would cause me to tan or burn under the shirt itself.It fits OK but it's a little small for a large shirt. If you're into muscle building you may want to go for the next size up to give you a bit more room. I'm no weakling but I'm not hulking out either and I feel the shirt taut on my back as I move my arms around. It's polyester so it stretches a bit too, but I tend to prefer shirts that are more loose fitting around the arms at least.Other than that, it's a nice color and works well with my typical wardrobe choices. I don't play golf but I think if I did I might still want to try an X-Large instead of a Large for more roominess/mobility. For my level of activity I think I'm ok with Large though.

This golf polo fits very well, breathes good, and is comfortable for all day use. The material is decent quality as it has stood up to several wash cycles without problem. The fit is perfect... I ordered a medium at 5'9" and 162lbs. Even after a sweaty round of golf, this shirt dries quickly and doesn't retain odor. Overall, I'm quite pleased.
