Webcam Camera With Good Additional Features
This webcam comes as a reasonably priced webcam with extra features that most don't include. The camera is well made and neatly compact. The lead for connection to the computer is almost 5 feet long which is better than a few of these types. The best 'extra' features included with the webcam is the addition of a mini tripod, ( which can be detached) and a very useful feature - ( the reactive to touch light changing modes). The webcam installation was very simple - just plug into your Macbook or PC and it is recognised immediately. The focus on the camera is good quality and it only takes a second or two to become pin sharp.By simply 'tapping' the inner circle of the webcam face, you can change the light quality to 5 x different settings ( from cold white to warm light). It also has a neat cover that can slide over the lens if you only want to use the light itself. The main body of the webcam is moulded around a spring loaded clip, if you wish to attach it directly to the laptop or monitor screen without the tripod.Happy to recommend this product for quality, value and flexibility

Its very nice for my meeting
The media could not be loaded. The 2K Full HD resolution provides crystal-clear images and videos, making every meeting more engaging and professional. The 30fps frame rate ensures smooth video playback without any lag.The built-in privacy cover is a feature I particularly appreciate. It's reassuring to have the ability to physically cover the camera lens for added security and privacy, especially in today's digital age where unauthorized access is a concern. The autofocus with TOF technology is another standout aspect. It keeps the focus sharp on me during meetings, irrespective of the lighting or environment, ensuring that I am always clearly visible and never out of focus.I also love the adjustable ring light with two lighting modes and three brightness levels. It allows me to adjust the lighting to suit my surroundings, enhancing my appearance on camera. The plug-and-play setup was incredibly easy, and the tripod stand included is a great addition, allowing for easy adjustments in height and angle. Moreover, its wide compatibility with various operating systems and major software like Zoom, Skype, and YouTube makes it a versatile tool for anyone’s virtual communication needs. The 90-degree wide view is excellent for accommodating more participants in a call without the need to constantly adjust the camera.

It's all about the light
I have been using a superb 4k webcam for a while now, but I often have to put on the main light in the room when using it because it struggle with only soft lighting. This little fella on the other hand solves that issue.Okay, a couple of things. FIrst of all when I'm using Teams or Zoom there is no difference between a 2k and a 4k camera. I accept if you were filming something to use at a later date then it might be noticeable, but for live streaming, you'll never know. The sound quality is suprisingly good for a camera. I am more than happy to use it rather than adding an additional microphone. But, as I said in the headline, it's all about the light. There are two colours a 4000k blue-white light which is a little harsh on my skin, and then there is a much warmer light which seems to give me a little colour on screen and I'm a big fan of that one. Both versions have three settings, low, medium and high. I tend to use high if I need the light on, it's not that the others are that much lower, but if I'm going to use it I may as well use it all.The auto focus is also very good, it doesn't range much at all, and if you only move back and forward at a normal speed rather than dancing around like a fool, you'll never notice it adjusting anyway.I also love the built in lens cover, my other camera has one glued on which works, but this is a far better design.Overall, a very good buy. If you need the light, pick one up.

Will not focus on face
I've had this a couple of weeks now and it is unable to focus on the person in front of the camera, whether there is background blur applied, bright or low lighting, there is no way to focus manually or using any settings through a laptop. Haven't been able to find any support, guidance, anything in the other reviews that address this (other than to say they have the same issues). Will have to immediately replace, a complete waste of money.

A good enough webcam at a good enough price
I found this neither the perfect webcam, nor did I find it meh. Picture quality is a step above your average laptop picture by a long shot, but will fall short of more expensive camera solutions. The only issues I encountered were some struggles with auto focus and brightness under low light conditions. I tend to prefer goblin cave levels of lighting and the webcam occasionally struggled to find a lighting level that was adequate. Controlling your lighting via software may give better results. The onboard light is okay, although not any brighter than you would expect for USB power.I take some exception to the "stereo" microphone- you will not get "stereo" on any mic mounted on a webcam, you need physical separation for that. The mic quality itself is so so- you will want a better solution if you do a lot of meetings or streaming (I'd recommend a lapel mic)

Good camera, useful light - only a couple of small quirks.
This camera is truly plug and play. It comes with a small adapter so you can plug it in to a standard USB (bigger - "duck mouth" - the one you always seem to insert the wrong way on the first try) or USB-C (the smaller, symmetrical one) port on your computer. It receives power and connects with your computer via that same connection.I have it on a Windows device, plugged-in through a USB-C port on a docking station. The top sits securely on my laptop screen, and the front support sticks down just as far as the native camera does. The picture quality is improved over my laptop's built-in camera. The lens seems to pick me up as if I'm "closer" to the camera than my laptop one does. The biggest improvement is the added lighting. The light works quite well, and can be used independently of the camera. It's touch activated. The light is a small ring with the camera right in the middle of it. There is a privacy cover you can slide over the camera. The area between the ring and the camera lens is the touch point to control the lighting. The camera and light are one unit and pivot from side to side well and tilt front to back just a little bit. I had no trouble adjusting it to a useful angle for use on work calls. This does have a built-in microphone as well. I used it on calls and no one had any difficulty hearing me. The "closed captioning" feature of our meeting software was also able to pick me up accurately.DISLIKES:(1) The outside of the light/camera is aluminum (I think). some non-magnetic metal anyway. Yet they chose not to use that as the touch activator for the light. Missed opportunity, IMO. As it is, if you need to turn the lighting on, change the brightness, or adjust the light temperature in the middle of a call, it looks to the other person like you are going to poke the camera. Not a huge problem, really, just a quirk that seems an odd choice. It would be more instinctive to tap the side/top of the camera/light to touch control.(2) Since you can use the light independently of the camera, it doesn't remember your last setting while using the camera. So you end up adjusting the lighting far more than should be necessary. It cycles through with each touch: Cool White dim, Cool White medium, Cool White bright, Warm White dim, Warm White medium, Warm White bright, OFF. The reaction time between each setting seems instantaneous, so at least you don't have to wait, but I found myself having to touch it far more than should be necessary.Combining the quirks of 1 and 2, They could've made this product absolutely great by making the outside housing control on and off and the inside area for brightness/color temp. It would've been nice to be able to just touch the top and quickly turn on/off the camera and light together for those meetings where you don't need to be visible all the time. As is, it's most convenient to leave the light on and use the software to turn your image on/off as needed. In all, I'm quite satisfied with this camera. Would 4K have been nicer? Probably so. The added light is a wonderful improvement over m built-in camera, since my room lighting doesn't work well to light up my face. I say go for it and make the purchase! I would certainly consider buying it again, and, in fact, will be recommending this to my boss as standard issue.

Excellent Value for the money
I was surprised at how good this camera is for the money if you want a web cam that incorporates a light. As others have mentioned though, you have to click through all the modes to turn it off. I also think you have to keep in perspective HOW you use these webcams :-) I use them most for video conference type scenarios but I also work remotely, and depending on whose at the other end, I don't always use my office and it's easier to simply have another webcam than unhook the other one. With that in mind, the image quality is definitely better than the laptop cameras. I actually have several webcams that I've been trying out. I found that the built-in mike on this one was a bit of bust as I couldn't get it work properly (I'll fiddle with it when I get more time), but I use a headset or dedicated mike anyway so not a deal breaker for me.The light itself is quite neat (as is the cover) due to the sheer number of modes it has. I have a more expensive light. The mini-tripod is a nice tough. Overall build quality is quite good.

Exceptional quality for the money
I was pretty surprised how clean and bright the light on this camera is, and it definitely makes a crazy different on the video quality. The picture is already better than most cameras in this price range, but the built in ring light is just fantastic.
