Didn't have to replace the upper steering shaft after using this!
I used this for a 1997 Jeep TJ upper steering shaft on the engine side of the firewall. This removed all the slop from my steering. I did take a Dremel tool to file the inside to get correct fitment. Works better than I hoped for!Expect to remove some metal on the inside for correct fitment.Would recommend.
