Q: Why has my screen gone black with white characters but not displaying any information

Hi, it sounds like your display and transmitter aren't talking to each other. The first thing we would recommend is replacing the batteries in the transmitter. Q: Historical data: for how long does this solo ii store historical data?

I did not know it stores historical data. However, I record the readings every day on my paper records and can compare daily, monthly and annual readings for all the period I have had solar panels since 2010, but I use my generation meter readings for that purpose. M.Galgut

Q: i have 2 sets of solar panels and a battery pack will this unit monitor them and do,s it tell you how much is coming in from the grid

Thank you for contacting us. The Solo II will only monitor the meter the sensor is connected to. If both sets of panels lead into a single meter it will read their generation. This monitor will not read both generation and usage at the same time so it won't tell you what is coming from the grid. Regards Ross

Yes it will, I bought it for my dad his meter box is outside & he has it fixed in the centre of the house & it works fine.
