3M 9010198 Archival Document Repair Tape, 1" by 35'

A bit awkward to separate but a quality product

Did exactly what I needed, mended and strengthened a book coover

I use these tapes all the time and this is effective and sheer. Its expensive and I can't understand why. Just because it's 'archival' that seems to add £££so to the cost.

Excellent quality, can be a bit tricky to use, but it really does work well, does what it says on the box!

I was a little dubious of this when I ordered it as the reviews were mixed, but I am so glad I did. The tape has mended ripped pages in my Bible perfectly, even the very thin delicate paper, without adding weight to the page. It is barely noticeable and you can still read the type through the tape. It is a little fiddly to remove the backing paper from the tape but with care it can be done easily. I am delighted with this product, highly recommended.

It appears to work well for document repairs, and even books, but only time will tell . Do read the instructions.

Purchased this to repair a book.. It did an ok job but doesn't go transparent like real japanese tissue, more translucent. It worked well enough for my needs but would not be good if applied over text or images
