Functional
Good size for guest room. No window do this device was perfect. Put a towel under because I was worried about leaks, no issues. Guest were happy with the cool air.

Does not cool small dorm room
I purchased this item for my daughter’s dorm room at college based upon the reviews. However, even using the ice packs with really cold water, the air that comes out is not really cool. I had also purchased my daughter a small desk-top Arctic Air Chill XL, which uses similar evaporative technology without ice packs, and this small desk-top Arctic Air emits really cold air (like an air conditioner). I was looking for a much larger evaporative air cooler unit for the rest of the room, but unfortunately Arctic Air does not make a large unit like this Temeike. So i took a chance on this Temeike evaporative air cooler unit, hoping it would emit air as cool as the small Arctic Air. I was very disappointed. The air from the Temeike is not even as cool as the air from a regular tower fan. When I go to visit parents weekend, i will probably replace the Temeike with a regular tower fan. Again, very disappointed.

Too messy
I was expecting something else... it was too messy... the instructions were too vague... did not as .uch as I thought it should.

No noticeable difference between cool/fan temps
I tried with regular ice water, and the frozen things (with and without water). Experienced zero add'l cooling compared to the standard fan setting. It was nowhere near as costly to run as a real A/C, but seemed to pull a bit more than a decent HE fan. Not great.

Swamp cooler
The cool mist feels great but the swamp cooler does not lower the temperature in the room. The room is smaller than 200 square feet. But I enjoy the mist.

Too good to be true
The air is NOT cold (even when using ice cubes and ice packs.) My office is a 10x10 room, and the temperature did not decrease even 1 degree. Actually, it just got more humid and sticky when using the “air cooler.” (Returned)

Not as advertised
This said it was an air conditioner. It is a fancy fan at best. Good for using as a humidifier. Nice to have many options for speed and cooling. Timer to shut off is handy

Its more humidifier then ac cool.
The media could not be loaded. I wish it would run more cold but I'm off grid hard to always have ice cubes but I've used cold water it helps with secondary air-conditioner.
