Proper oil for the lamp! Beautiful effect
This is the correct oil for your Johnson rain lamp. Mineral oil is too thin and runs way too fast. The correct pace for your rain lamp is a soft falling effect that is beautiful to watch. Invest in this rain lamp oil. Yeah...It is more costly with the shipping price but I say it's worth it and it works great! Original Lamp instructions for their biggest hanging swag lamp requires exactly 2 32oz quarts and 1 16 oz pint to run safely and smoothly. I have the slightly smaller hanging swag lamp and it uses 8oz less. This is the amount of oil the lamps originally came with. It says not to run the lamp with less than that. As a guide it should filled up to just slightly under the bottom drain plate. Never over. Oil should be changed once a year.

Perfect
The media could not be loaded. Flows so nicely. Can’t wait to get a new pump for my big lamp so I can get it running.

Rain lamp oil
The media could not be loaded. I originally ordered a different oil for my 1970’s rain lamp. That oil was too thin and it dropped out and off the lines. I ordered this oil and it’s perfect. No spills. The ship time was like 2-3 weeks, but I received it within a week. Very happy!

Best Rain Lamp Oil!
The media could not be loaded. I have two of the Creators Oil Lamps that I got at garage sale and they had been stored for years, so I wasn't sure if they would even work. I followed the instructions, and they both worked! Thank you so much for the information! The only thing is, it would be good if the instructions came with the oil or even if it was on the bottle. Shipping was a little high, but being that this is hard to find, I guess it was worth it. Thanks again!

Get this, not mineral oil.
Thank God for this product! I read everywhere that you could just use white mineral oil as a replacement... no, you can't. I mean, you CAN but you will have a very loud, over worked motor and a monsoon of a rain lamp. This stuff is much thicker and creates a nice, calm rain effect. It started to flow out but was still getting air in the line so once I poured the entire bottle in it started to run perfectly and almost completely silent. So thankful this product is still around!

Amazing product!
I recently bought a 1970's Tabletop Grist Mill Oil Rain Lamp and this mineral oil was perfect for this lamp! beads real nice and slow all the way down the strings. Love the look it gives my lamp unlike wal-mart generic mineral oil.
