SauconyMen's Endorphin Speed 2 Running Shoe

First off I will say this is my first speed/tempo run shoe (and also first Saucony, I think?). So I can only compare to my recent daily trainers (cumulus, floatride energy,& 880v11). That being said, I'm continually amazed at how well I run in these shoes. I'm typically about an 8:30-8:45 / mile guy. This shoe has dropped that by about a full minute, absolutely crushing my PR's (multiple times)! It's hard to explain exactly why but the shoe just wants you to go fast plain and simple. As a heel striker (like to the umpteenth degree) it took me a little bit of an adjustment and was even a little weary when buying if these would be right for me at all. The shoe pushes you to more of a mid foot or even toe strike, but for me it's more of a heel/mid foot strike if that makes any sense. Either way it def changes you're stride a bit to where it should be for optimal speed push. And the energy return from the shoe is very noticeable. I'm amazed when I look at my pace every time as it feels like marginally more effort than with my regular trainers yet considerably better splits. The final test for me was doing a 10 miler in this show (in the pouring rain mind you) and it did not disappoint!This shoe is great on the road. The only bad I can say is it's meh on dirt and trails as you just don't get the same energy return that the shoe is designed for. As a lot of people said it's def also not for workouts where you will be making sharp cuts and turns. For what it's worth I also love the blue colorway! Def will be paying more attention to Saucony and this line in particular for the future.

Did my research prior to purchase and decided to buy them.Initial Reaction: comfy and snug.When I first ran with them, I planned on running three miles. One for warm up and two for time. Let me tell you, when I started jogging, these shoes made me run. Instead of running the three miles, I ran the two for time. My first mile was my fastest ever and the second mile... Almost 40 seconds faster. Granted, there was an old man that saw me and gave me words of encouragement, but nevertheless, these shoes are a game changer.Cons: As other reviewers stated, feels a bit unstable, was hesitant when making sharpish turns at repetitively fast speed.Pros: Fast AF, makes you run, comfy and snug fit, cheap. Bought these, which were the cheapest color, for $80.Final Thought: Pros definitely outweigh the cons. Get your bang for your buck. Also has different color schemes for a little more cost. Would 100% purchase again.

6’5 220lb neutral runner. Average 35 miles per week. Great trainer. Haven’t run over a half marathon in them. Have paid double for these. Going to stock up at this price. Fit true to size. Nice ride and lock down. Hold up well to my size.

Got these for my husband and he is loving them. He runs about 5 miles at a time. He uses them only for running, not walking/errands or strength training. They look super slick. He is a happy camper.

These are so much fun to run in. My only problem is that I am afraid to wear them too often and get used to them and then ruin regular shoes!

Passt perfekt locker.Ich laufe seitdem ich laufen kann, über 45Jahre. Alles ausprobiert, NewBalance und Asics lagen und gefielen mir am besten... Aber kein Schuh ist derart gut.Man muss sich daran gewöhnen, einige Tage, die Art wie er einem hilft forwärts zu laufen ist einzigartig.Seit einem Jahr laufe ich täglich bis zu einer Stunde auf Asphalt, keine einzige Verletzung oder Beschwerde.Leute die behaupten, man könne nur geradeaus laufen sollten die Ursachen in ihrer mangelnder Koordination suchen, Selbstkritik anstatt Fehler abzuschieben. Problemloses Waldlaufen.Ja ich spiele sogar Tennis mit diesen Schuhen, super angenehm und sehr effektiv um ans Netz zu rennen.Welche Sportart verlangt mehr Seitenbewegungen als Tennis. Fast jeder meiner Partner knickt irgendwann um. Ich mit diesen Schuhen nicht!Nach einem Jahr haben diese Schuhe keine einzige kleine Beschädigung. Unglaublich.Das konnte ich von Asics in den letzen Jahren nicht mehr sagen, die waren bei meinen Aktivitäten nach 3 Monaten Mülltonne reif.
