This switch might work, but I have no way of knowing. It doesn't test out as similar to others like it, with the center wire being positive (to battery) and the next two from center as negative, the outer two going to the motor. I requested from the seller a pin-out diagram but received no response. I'm not going to risk my motor, battery or wiring to try and guess how this thing should be hooked up. Very disappointed.

I picked up this switch to use with a small motorized awning I added to a balcony. Having a switch inside to control retraction or extension instead of constantly finding the wandering remote is ideal.This same switch is often used for car windows, moon roofs, awnings, and other things that use a motor to open and close. Generally one puts voltage (12V typical) on the center pin, ground on the middle pair, and your motor leads go one each to the end pins. This will supply no current when in the middle, forward current in one direction, and reverse current in the other. Perfect for a DC motor. The switch is spring loaded to return to the center position when no longer being pressed.The automotive version of this switch typically has an LED or small incandescent connected to the center and one of the middle pins, to illuminate the switch. This switch has no such illuminator, which is fine for my usage.The switch feels quite solid, as does the provided plug, which uses blade type sockets. It would be nice if they included a wiring diagram, or at least a circuit description, but it's easy enough to find and test with a continuity tester. The switch body also has a locking tab on each end, so if you have a solid material you're putting this into (like a panel or switch plate), it will click nicely in place and hold itself in.I'm quite happy with this switch, and look forward to not having to hunt for a remote to enjoy the balcony.

These are some awesome switches they works great for windows they work very well they are very sturdy and made with good quality materials great buy

I am not using it on a car window or RV slide, but works the same none the less. Rocker momentary switch to give you two poles. 3d printing an enclosure.

I just went to install it and found out it will not fit my bike.
