As someone who has tried MANY of the posture corrector models available on Amazon (though, admittedly, not all of them), this FitGeno model is the most comfortable, by FAR!! Although they recommend only wearing it for a max of (I believe) 2-3 hours/day (so that your muscles don't learn to be dependent on the brace itself), I have--on a few occasions--worn this brace for almost an entire day, and it didn't chafe my underarms/armpits at ALL! Which--if anyone had tried wearing a posture corrector before--you KNOW is UNHEARD OF!! In fact, I still own another brand that I purchased ~year ago, and in order to even make it bearable to wear for ONE hour, I had to also purchase additional add-on pads (meant for backpack straps) JUST so that I could minimize the chafing/discomfort that anyone who has ever tried wearing one, comes with wearing EVERY other posture corrector!! In fact, this is the ONLY model I've ever seen that comes with straps designed specifically for taking pressure off of your underarms. Definitely recommend it for anyone who is trying to correct a slumping posture, or just wants a brace that supports the lower back, while ALSO providing that anti-slumping shoulder support.

I have another brace and wanted to try this one as it looks like Fit Geno understood the need to keep the armpit straps from curling under and being uncomfortable. They did with this brace. The two extra frontal straps keep the armpit straps from curling under your armpits very well. It makes the brace very comfortable to wear and not having to constantly adjust the straps. They stay put with the extra straps that velcro to the front. Very good. Other makers should take heed of this !It has 4 stays in it for further support which work well. All straps are easy to secure and stay in place nicely. I wear a light weight shirt under it for comfort and I actually wear another shirt on top of it and it really is not that noticeable at all. Overall I recommend this brace. The sizing in their chart is true just make sure you measure your true waist so your fit will be best. I got a XXL and I am bout 6' tall and 225 lbs and it fits me well (there's also room for further adjustment if I need it).Updated 9/4/23 - I have now used this brace for a little over 2 months now and it really works well. I edited my original review as I had said it has 4 metal stays - they are not metal and I must of thought of a different brace I have (and I have not been able to bend them to slightly adjust the angle). I still like this brace a lot and highly recommend it.

My daughter constantly corrects my posture sitting and/or standing. She complains that I am “slouched over” and will get a “hunchback”. I am sure my bad posture is a result of doing computer work for decades. In addition to the bad posture I also have pain in my back.I finally decided I needed help because even though I might start out with good posture when I sit or while I'm standing, eventually I would “slouch over”.I am wearing the Fit Geno which is giving me support and helping me correct my posture and very best is that the pain is going away.It fits great, it’s lightweight and it works. I wear it throughout the day with no restrictions. It is training me , so I know how correct posture feels…which is great!!!

I purchased this brace to use at home while working on the computer or doing some housework. I like that it offers two forms of support: lower back with the waistband and upper back with the shoulder straps. The ability to tailor the fit to pull the shoulder straps away from under the arms makes it more comfortable to wear over longer periods. I have scoliosis and this helps to relieve some back pain I experience after being at the computer for long stretches or performing heavier housework. Good quality as well.

Let me say a few words about this back brace: it's an ingenious design that supports a workaholic lifestyle! First, it’s super easy to put on, with just the slightest adjustment needed. You simply strap it on according to your liking, and you’re good to go for the rest of the day. And, 2nd, it’s cozy enough to wear, but doesn’t feel like it’s restraining your minutest movements.So, as I have been working from home (for 2 years running now) and mostly subjected to computer work on a day to day basis, I needed something exactly like this product. I have an entire house to tidy up and my small children to look after as well, so this back brace really does come in handy. It’s provided such wonderful support especially to my back, which is the area of my body most prone to start aching as soon as stress gets to me.It also seems like the back brace is designed specifically for my body – once you have it on, it just fits beautifully. At first, I was a bit bothered about whether it would get in the way of my shoulders and arms coordination. But once you get used to wearing one (within 3 days for me), the straps that go right under the underarms feel like they’re not even there. Mobility isn’t hampered or anything. And there are days where I even lose track of the fact that I’m still wearing this back brace… It’s THAT comfortable and weightless!Lastly, I would say that this back brace isn’t all hype among people that have severe back problems! It’s a very helpful fitness utility that allows stress-prone workers to re-energize or self-soothe. And maintain a healthy routine even while working.
