Good quality, good price, works for me.
I am recovering from a broken ankle, and bought this to use with my physiotherapy exercises. I needed to use something to pull my foot towards myself, to stretch the tendons etc.The physio instructions suggest to use a towel, but a towel that is long enough is also quite wide to I ended up "fighting" with a lot of towel and it was really awkward to do.While searching for a long shoe-horn I saw one of these. I looked at several different ones ranging in price from around £5 to £15 . This one is very reasonably priced (although not the cheapest) and I have a bath-stool from "Drive" so I was optimistic about the quality of the item.Although this one had no meaningful reviews, some of the others had some negative reviews about quality and ease of use (eg "foot loop too small" although I did notice that one reviewer had clearly been using his upside down)With this one, the larger loop is for your foot, and the smaller loop is for your hand to grasp. The foot loop is large and has a rubber reinforcement/non-slip sleeve. Inside the foot loop there is a metal stiffener which makes it easy to hold the loop open as you hook it over your foot. There is also the same metal stiffening inside the main length of the Lifter, so it is easy to hold it in one hand and just hook the loop over the required foot.Note: there IS only one gripping loop for your hands, but depending on your manual dexterity and strength it is easy to use with both hands (some people needing this might be elderly or otherwise frail). It works very well - perhaps the addition of a second loop at the top would make using 2 hands to pull more easy .It seems to be made of good quality webbing, and works well for what I want. I have arthritis in my knee and hip, so I may actually need it as a leg-lifter in the future, so once my physiotherapy is finished I shall put it away until I need it, hopefully a long time into the future.Note: this item is identical to the item listed as "Drive Medical RTL2061 Leg Lifter" Drive Medical RTL2061 Leg Lifter

Works for me.
I have a contracture in my legs and this helps me get into my bath seat as pardon the phrase I can’t get my leg over. It is difficult to use as some have already mentioned as there is a wire down the back of the item. I am not sure you can remove this as it is sewn in. The foot bit has plastic piece in it. Now this morning I believe that is where your ankle goes. If that is the case that makes it a lot easier to use.

A must have
I love this as it helps me to be independent and not having to ask carers to help me lift my swollen arthritic legs. It’s my must have

Leg lifter
Had a full knee replacement and needed something to be able to lift my leg onto the bed. It has been very useful. It’s sturdy and strong. The only down side was the packaging. When it arrived it came folded in half so therefore was bent.Had trouble trying to straighten it.Would recommend.
