This is an incredible jacket. Before deciding to purchase, I did extensive research. The biggest concerns I've seen are about warmth/insulation and durability. In my experience using it through several winter months, I have found no additional flaws or concerns.Regarding warmth, I've actually seen no issue whatsoever. This jacket is toasty! I've heard others say there are too many baffles, causing a greater likelihood for cold air incursion and therefore poor performance in extreme cold. This is never seemed to be an issue for me. I took the jacket to Antarctica and stayed plenty warm, though granted it was paired with two layers under and a windbreaker on top. This is not water or wind proof. It will make a great puffy for travel and hiking especially due to its light weight, which I measured at 8.2 oz for the Medium.Durability is my primary concern. The material is quite thin and I have only kept it rip free so far out of an abundance of caution. I try hard to avoid branches while hiking and I never let our cats or dogs come near it. Layered under another jacket, I'm less concerned.I got it at an excellent price during an Amazon holiday deal sale but would be totally willing to pay full price for it again.

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend prior to a trip to Colorado next month. I bought a women's jacket 2 years ago for a trip to Europe, it is so light, easy to pack in small space and keeps you super warm. I bought my jacket after a tennis friend from Virginia wore hers and said how much she loved it and it's several years old. Only complaint from my boyfriend is the zipper is too small, otherwise, highly recommended

My husband has wanted a super lightweight, yet warm coat for backpacking. This coat has great reviews in the backpackers community. I purchased it to surprise him and he is so happy! Great quality extremely lightweight!

Love how lightweight but incredibly warm this is. I also love that i don’t disappear in the jacket like some other ultra warm jackets. 5 / 5 stars

Owned for just over a month and worn no more than 20 times and pull cord broke for the waist. It came with a loose thread in the arm but I was willing to overlook it since I needed it for a trip but this is not acceptable. Would return if I could but it’s just over the return window :/ sad since I love the jacket but I should have listened to the reviews saying the quality has gone down hill.

It’s very light and comfortable. The blue color is also nice!

I did a great deal of research online to find the optimum balance of features for a super-lightweight, packable, warm, stylish down jacket. I was more concerned about getting the best jacket for my use, rather than the least expensive. My first choice was the Men's Ghost Whisperer/2 Hoody.I wanted to love this jacket. It does have some amazing engineering. It is possibly the lightest, thinnest, most compatible, high warmth-to-weight item out there. I am uncertain as to how warm it is will be without several layers under it, but I decided to return it (defective main zipper, sizing, lack of adjustability) before I had an opportunity to test its reported warmth.As the headline suggests, I think you will either find this the most fantastic down jacket out there (despite the premium cost), or it will be a huge disappointment. My jacket had a defective front zipper, so my decision to return it was easy. I did not like the tiny zippers used throughout the garment (front sipper and pockets). These fragile-looking zippers are the tiniest I have ever seen on a jacket, making them difficult to open and close. Also, the design and cut of the Large (my recommended size) was overwhelmingly huge on me everywhere, particularly the arms. The elastic in the arms would not hold the long sleeves up for me, and there is very little adjustability.

Very expensive!! The jacket sizing ran smaller than the measurements given. Returned.
