Well made, easy to fill, does the job!

Construction was good. Appealing appearance. My birds love it. However, so do my squirrels. They climb down from the top but when they get to the bottom they just free hang from the perches so the coil no longer drops down. Then they use their paws and shovel the seed out.

I like the design and ease of filling with bird seed. However, the birds don’t seem to be attracted to it.

Just purchased my second feeder. Purchased the first feeder in the fall but was skeptical if the feeder would actually keep the many squirrels away from the seed. Our home is surround on three sides we woods so we tend to have several squirrels around the house and trying to outsmart the birdfeeders. This feeder works great and for the price on Amazon is a great value. High recommend .

I've tried to like this purchase. It is on the smaller side of bird feeders in general which is fine. I tried a new brand of bird seed in it, but the birds would not take to it. (I've had bird feeders for years). So, I changed back to my tried and true bird seed formula/brand. The birds do eat from it. But, it's a bit awkward size-wise for the Cardinals to eat out of. Most of the birds are choosing to eat out of my bigger and different style feeder. I bought two of these feeders and put one in my front yard and one in my backyard. Same results. The anti-squirrel part does work, I also like the cinch device at the top of the lid to keep it shut. The birds however, get confused when they land on the anti-squirrel part and it "moves" on them. The only place they have to land is the very flimsy, small and poorly attached perch wires at the bottom.

I wanted an additional small feeder that might stand up to the squirrels and this fits the bill. Steel so they can't chew through it and the birds like it.

We use the Kay-Tee Wild Bird Waste Free Nut and Fruit Food Seed Blend in the feeder. The bigger particles sometimes plugs the feeder openings. We feed rabbits and squirrels as well on the ground. The feeder works good otherwise. The squirrel after 20 minutes of work did manage to get into a feed opening! Spilled some seed out in the process. ☺️ Guess not 100% squirrel proof. But frustrating to them too. I recommend the feeder.

It's a nice sturdy bird feeder. However my pesky squirrel figured out how to eat out of it in about 10 minutes. He actually hung upside down from the anti squirrel wiring that goes around it and did sit ups to eat. It was very funny to watch. Good thing I don't really care if I feed the squirrels. It is a really nice bird feeder though. It's not going to be chewed through like my last one. I will be feeding my squirrel for years to come.
