It fit my Ego lawn mower perfectly. The only reason I gave on Ed star in first two categories was because I’ve only used once. It seems to be great. Held charge long enough for me to do a sizable front yard.

It is always great to have an extra battery. The price is a little high though.

The vendor spec'd the unit weight at 4.6 lbs. False. It weighed in at 4.2 lbs thus suspecting lower density18650 batteries were being used. The higher the lithium density, the more storage capacity it provides. Sure enough after taking a peek, I find they use Highstar 2000 mah batteries, a low end budget 18650 battery costing about $0.75 per in groups of 10 or more. Although I have not used it yet, I am sure the run time will be considerably shortened compared to batteries weighing in at close to 5 lbs. I was disappointed in the quality of the purchase but at half price and roughly1/3 the cost of an EGO 5AH battery, I will see how long it will last.

Too early to rate, only used it once and so far it charged well and keep the charge. As of all the ego products ives bout over the last 6 years , this was is equally good.

The battery after 3 months would not take a charge. I I informed the manufacturer of the issue but they kept telling me that the battery needs to be charged…I find the customer service unsatisfactory. I had to order another and just hope this one lasts. My original battery went for 5 years. Not sure how to rate the battery. We’ll see, but the manufacturer will not make it right.

Seems to work fine but makes weird noise when charging

Charged to full and it was dead almost right after getting started.
