Just a quick update -- unit is still running. California is burning again, and the little dude is fighting the good fight, only taking a break for when the filter goes through the dishwasher.We have two of these now btw.--I'm raising the rating from 4 to 5 stars after having this little dude run in the bedroom for almost 9 months, non-stop.I got used to sleeping with the quiet hum of the fans, and whatever sleep disturbance the minimal noise creates is offset a hundred-fold by better sleep quality because my sinuses are free and my eyes aren't watering.As indicated in the manual, I run the ionic blades through the dishwasher whenever the light comes on.Just the other night, I thought I'd sleep without it running. I woke up multiple times because my nose was stuffed and my throat was scratchy. It never happened to me in the time that I had it running, so it's definitely effective.I'm buying a second one for the other bedroom today.I recommend this unit to anyone.----Original review from Nov 2018:I've purchased this air purifier to help improve air quality in the bedroom during NorCal wildfires of 2018. I've had the item for four full days, and running full-time. It definitely works, but of course to cycle more air you'd have to run in full-speed which is louder. I run it on max during the day and switch to silent at night.It is not indeed silent, but significantly quieter than the older air purifier from a different manufacturer that I banished to the other end of the house so I can sleep. With ambient noise level around 17dB (measured by a phone app, so take it with a grain of salt), when I turn on the air purifier, the noise level goes up to 19-20dB measured 50cm / 1.5ft from the device. Far from true silence, but quiet enough that I can actually get some good sleep while it's running.Its fans look like your regular 120mm computer case fans, three of them positioned top to bottom, and the unit sounds kind of like a PC workstation at idle at the lowest setting.I intend to update this review in a few months, after I've had a chance to run it enough to need to clean it.

I would highly recommend this product and seller. I have severe allergies and have wanted to try an air purifier for a while but was afraid to pull the trigger. I'm so happy I finally did. Once ordered, my product arrived very quickly. I opened it immediately excited to try it right away. It's important to note that I live in Georgia where the pollen looks like a yellow snow storm. Also I have three dogs, one who sleeps in my room. My normal bedtime routine starts with a sneezing fit and ends with a stuffy nose in the morning. I put the purifier in my room to see if it works as advertised. 100% IT DOES!!! Since night one I have not sneezed one time nor have I woken up with a stuffy nose. I can't begin to tell you how amazing that is for me. A few other pluses.....this thing is very quite, it has several settings to choose from, also there is a dimmer button so you can turn off the blue illuminated lights for bed time. I also like the sleek design and the fact that it doesn't take up lots of space.

We live in a very windy area in Idaho. When the wind is high my husband has a very hard time sleeping because of the positive ions. This machine makes negative ions. After running it a few days I checked the washable filter and it already had a coating of very fine dust. The manufacturer recommends washing it every 8 weeks, but with all the dust in the air here I will probably clean it more often.The silent mode is not exactly silent, but very quiet. I really love the dim button, it turns off the blue light so the bedroom is nice & dark. There are 4 fan speeds, so I feel like I can really clean up the air in a room when I want to.The machine has a very narrow profile, doesn't take up much room in the bedroom.We always deduct 1 star for items made in China, so that is why we gave it 4 stars instead of 5. American companies need to step up and build more stuff here. We are happy to pay to keep American workers employed.

I bought this for my grandma and I am so happy I did! She has some severe breathing issues and had been complaining of congestion and other problems caused by her allergies. After some research, I decided to purchase this machine and we really couldn't be happier. It is extremelyeffective, quiet, and doesn't pull a lot of electricity. It is not bulky at all, is easy to clean and it isn't complicated, all of which are extremely important for her. Since setup, her allergy issues have improved immensely.

Absolutely horrible product and dishonest seller. Unit came defective and wasn't purifying at all. Metal plates didn't catch any dust and there was no ozone smell in the room. Basically, you pay $256 for fancy looking filter with 4 small fans from PC that make noise. One fan broke and started making loud broken noise on 3rd day of use. I returned item and got refund only $184 instead of $256.I called Amazon customer support for assistant with the seller and they helped me resolve the issue. The seller is absolutely rip off scam. Send me broken unit and then pocketed $72. Stay away from this seller.

The noise level was great I really like this product the only problem is that I have a problem getting the unit to turn on. It takes five or six times pushing the button for it to actually go on. If it wasn’t for this problem I would definitely love it I would have liked to receive a new one but that wasn’t one of the options on the return policy.

I purchased the Envion Ionic Pro Platinum TA750 to combat with allergies. I must say the product works wonderfully if you want fresh air pumping through your home. I tried the purifier all around my apartment. The purifier has 4 settings, silent, allergies, germs, and max. I usually just ran it on max. I would definitely recommend this product if you want to improve the quality of air in your space. My spouse noticed the improvement of air quality as well. If there are any unpleasant smells are dusty places inside your home this product will work wonders.
